Pleasurewood Hills Memories

The rumour has been in-brew for quite some time now. Apparently, before PWH aquired Wipeout, they were thinking of purchasing a Reverchon Wild Rapids ride. I really wanted this to happen as the water-based options at Pleasurewood are, well, quite limited. I reckon that empty land where the Hungry B...

does anyone remember the old billboard that was near to where the travellodge is now, is it still there or if not does anyone know what happened it?

i remember once when i went to pwh, there was one of these, over by where the go karts are, where the popcorn stand is now, i think this would be a brilliant addition, as it would be a great addition in the main square or somewhere where there isn't much space, as a bit of theeming can make theese look great ex...

This ride is a firm favourite with families and thrill seekers alike, but I was wondering when was the last time they operated with more than one train. Didn't they have three on once? I would love to see this back to it's better throughput! I also much prefered the 'dated' mine-theme until it was splash...

This is another 'bring it back' poll, this time though, for the Megaspin Rollover: Its quite disappointing that this site has no info on it at all, anyone browsing...

Nowadays, the biggest complaint we have of Pleasurewood is the lack of the rides in the park, so with that in mind, would you welcome back the Sky Screamer? [...

I remember when I visited Pleasurewood one year (I cant remember what year though), and I noticed upon my arrival that the Waltzers were in bits in the car park. For that reason alone I had a great day, as, to put it bluntly, they were awful. They looked awful, and just were completely rubbish. Anyway, I r...

My memory is fairly good on things that came and went at Pleasurewood Hills, but one of the new additions to the park in 1997 was "Drift King" and I have no idea what it was. (See the map in the Leaflets and Maps section of Unofficial Pleasurewood). This was in the Fort Fun section of the park....

I was looking at the Pleasurewood Hills website and they still have pages on the server from their old website when it was owned by Peggy and Peter. As they are updating their site imminently I thought I would post some interesting info they had up on a couple of their rides - some info which I don't think...

does anyone remember the golf courses that were at pwh? there locations were near thunderstruck and near wavebreaker. -- Edited by Unofficial Pleasurewood on Thursday 14th of January 2010 10:28:41 PM

Just wondering does anyone remember the pets corner at pleasurewood hills? It was located next to Wizzy Dizzy (where the rubbish is)? I think that they should get the pets corner back because it was a big attraction in the 1990's.

This is a section of an article written back in 2004 that I came across: During the show the sale of another Junior Coaster with 335 meters of track and a Family Suspended ride, both to Pleasurewood Hills in the UK, have be announced. The Family Suspended Coaster is the first installation of this kind in...
