remember that old bilboard?


does anyone remember the old billboard that was near to where the travellodge is now, is it still there or if not does anyone know what happened it?

Do you mean on the right hand side as you drive past that pub? From what I remember it was there for years, and got updated everytime the park changed the marketing design.

Sorry, that is no use to you!lol Anyway, you visit every weekend, you of all people should know the answer!

I always thought that billboard was great - it was a great signpost for the park... they could do with another big sign at the gates off the Tesco roundabout too - just to make that bare bit of land more welcoming...

Was always grest to see the advert, from what I remember and I live very near the site it was taken down after the Travelodge was built, maybe it is Travelodge land and they did not want it on there. Shame.

You can see on Google Street view that it used to be right where the entrance to the Travelodge is, so their sign is going to take priority of the Hills!

I wonder if there's any offers for PWH for the Travelodge guests?

I always thought an overhead sign as you go down Leisure Way would look great and really excite some of the younger guests at the park. Drove past their today, and can't remember seing the billboard thing.
