Were Pleasurewood right to change Wild Water Falls to Mellow Yellow?

Now there is a reason I've started this topic, just take a look at this picture:

This picture was taken the year before it became Mellow Yellow, and just look at the state it is in.

All along I have been saying it was a stupid move to paint it yellow, but after seeing that picture, I take that back.

The yellow paint they used for it was obviously just some of the paint they had left over after they painted the Parrot Show building, park entrance and other bits & bobs.

So after seeing this, and realising how much of a state it was in, I now agree that painting it was a good idea. And if they saved money by using some left over paint they already had, good for them. Rather them do that than leave it looking like its about to fall apart.

I voted yes. Although the name was stupid, the ride looked in great condition with the paint job. It looked clean, crisp and bright!

As you rightly pointed out with the photo it looked in an awful state before and was due an overhaul. I'm just glad they are updating further. Can't wait to see what it's like!

And just to compare...

Slightly off topice, but I'll bet, with it now being called "Timber Falls", the yellow boarding around the edge of the 'pool' (that can been clearly above) will now have wooden slats/planks all over it. :D

This is off topic too, but in the background of the first picture is the best damn ride in the history of Pleasurewood!
