It was the comments on Facebook from the GP about the Waveswinger and Rattlesnake.
Having retro style rides at PWH also wont work due to amount of the maintenance that they require. TTT was a retro classic, and look where that is now.
But in other news.... I have seen on a video that the whole dodgems structure down by Eggspress has come down! That's awesome news, means that they're likely to be getting a proper retheme. Hopefully it'll be another barn building!
Facebook was full of 'bring back Rattlesnake' comments.. so i think haters are very much in the minority.
And there are plenty of bran new 'retro' style rides. i don't believe they don't make Waveswingers anymore.
I also believe they could get the correct parts to fix TTT if they wanted.. remember they also lied about not being able to fix the Rattlesnake because it was so old they don't make parts for it..... Yet they got it working within about 3 weeks of trying.

With ttt being such a simple ride i agree it could have been fixed, yes they had "huss" come and look at it but the huss that exists today isnt the same company, bit like atari today is just the name and not the same company that brought us the good ol 2600 etc.
From my last visit it looks like all parts have gone now other than the base so i think that one is staying dead
You're actually backing up my point here. TTT would have been fixable, but they chose not to (no real lose tbh). So what use is it having a park with a load of rides of that age?
Rattlesnake was fixable but expensive to do. TTT has a part that they can't get anymore without it being made specially. Even then it wouldn't run as well as it used to. So the cost isn't worth it.
but it still should have all been removed, two years now its looked like that and it does not bode well with guests new or returning - the returning ones are key
They only need to remove the middle stub and could leave the rest buried forever and just sling a flat on top, literally has to be the absolute cheapest thing they can currently do, even if they leased something for the year just to cover it up
Actually, with Cannonball STILL closed, it could be to do with that. Obviously something out of the ordinary is going on with Cannonball, with that section of track missing....
Perhaps its days are over and they've only now got confirmation of a replacement? Or it's going to be spruced up?
No i can't see the message on facebook anywhere, but it's still on twitter. must be important.. because it's a Big announcement.. i reckon it's about the dodgems they've been doing up?

Hmm surely cannonball cant be sbno let's face it pirate ship is essentially that these days ...then we have a half hearted fireball and the remains of the ttt in the ground and then a missing set of dodgems. It's not a great start at all, these are all on going issues. Maybe cannonball will be ready for the main season. I've just looked at Facebook and the post has gone yeh.

the post is still on twitter, and they have replied to comments.
it's disparaging act on facebook is odd... unless they don't know how to delete things from twitter.
