Fairly sure the fence and the base that lifted the ride was still around not too long ago...be good if the whole thing has actually gone. Does anyone know if you have a season pass if you can get others in cheaper with it ?
This weeks waveney advertiser has no adverts for the new season. Even in the pull out section in the middle of the paper this week there is no money off voucher or advert either. It gets named as attraction 52 yet that's it. There was a advert and voucher for the pleasure beach
bumpercar garage?? well at least it's getting a make over. but i don't like the name.
They still so fixed about having two dodgems lol it's crazy.
But it good that the end of the park is getting some much needed love.. been neglected for well over 10 years.

Yeah it really bugs me that they're spending money on those dodgems, you cant polish a turd. Would much rather they just scrapped them and got like a ferris wheel or a star flyer in their place.
Yes saw fireball video posted showing that end was open early yet maybe only cause its season start. What a shame to see it swinging so low still and a waste of a refurb for the pirate which is quite embarrassing to watch - such a shame and to think there are other Huss models like this nearly as old too that still go all the way.
Other things I noted on my walk round the car park today and all round the boundaries ( on the public footpath's )was easy access for free entry - a whole piece of the metal fence has been bent/torn down in one area so you can easily get in - hope this is addressed soon. No work taking place on the mini dodgems site there is lots of wood there. Lots of junk from the snake refurb in the car park in that corner and a large container skip too.
Security camera on boundary by the back of wipeout has its wires blowing in the wind clearly not working ( although it has not for some years ) No work also on cannonball.
Car park not very busy at all yet weather is poor here today, quite nippy and drizzly. The Mcdonalds Pakefield sign still at the exit, although the heart fm ones on the ponds on the exit road have gone. Looked like one was in the pond as a large white board was face down in one.
Pic attached is off fireball and the highest it went on the half a dozen cycles I watched this afternoon. It was very poor and it literally swung that high once on each side.
The main office building roof is all peeling away and so the green is now silver in many areas particularly cannonball side and it was quite unsightly to see and that general building needs some tlc now simple licks of paint etc many sulo refuse bins the large ones all outside the delivery gates - hope they get put away inside.
Jolly is now of a somewhat brown colour - the lights have been left on. MM using a red, yellow and orange car !
Lets hope its a good season and brings in much needed cash
The photo did load the correct way yet as ever its a Samsung issue I think so sorry tilt your heads. lol

The close up of jolly roger shows the brakes have also been painted? And was that awful black boarding like that last season?! I can't remember from last year
Fireball is a KMG issue. They were given the option to either spend lots of money and have it swing at full height or have it swing to 90' and save some money, Was quite well publicised at the time.
Jolly has some new music on which sounds fantastic, suits the rides theme.
Hoping that this is a good season and that the park does well and the owning company continues to invest. I hope you're planning to actually go in at some point Coolskin.
Not a bad opening day park opened the gates with some entertainment (pirates ladies on skilts with coloured flags)
Things to note :-
Pirate ship is running worse then last season if you ask me all thatâs changed is the actual ship has been painted and a new logo/sign at the top
Jolly Ruger looks horrible if you ask me painted to look like rust đ¤Ž
Balloon rays look fantastic! A complete re-Ferb
Egg -Spress was running well I do agree with the comments about the tunnel
A new sign has been put up on your way out of the park entrance wich I thought looked good
Hyper drive- Just no Get rid of ASAP
Chair lights were running so slow
The toilets around the park have been furbished
I think thatâs everything đ
I had A really enjoyable day!
The park has a good future with Ricky in charge
I go in every season mattyh and any links on the kmg issue ? Or was this when they were all closed for a short period of time ? A kmg issue or not one high ish swing each side is very poor it runs for probably less than 60 seconds. Last week I was on vortex at Thorpe...no comparisonÂ

huh.. they went to all the trouble with the Pirate ship just to paint it?
Marble Madness had a red car last season, it's weird.
Fireball was probably toned down because it's a family park as we can't have thrill rides.

Fireball broke a LOT last season, what repairs they have done have probably tuned it down rather than orders of the GM or it's the ride operator, i'm pretty sure they are the ones who control how high it goes.
I was told by an operator last year that the person that used to run fireball on a decent setting "broke it" (though I obviously wouldn't take that as a certain fact). For me at least it used to run faaaaaaaar better than vortex, even when vortex was on a good cycle (i.e. on the top of most swings which is rare). On 2015 on the last day of the season it was running nearly on par with eagles claw towards the end of the day. The spinning was far more powerful (very good lateral G's) & the airtime far superseded what we get now, and on top of that it would run twice as long (it would slow down then get going again).Â
I do recall the motors breaking on fireball. There are a number of different cycles the operator can choose. Vortex last weekend was on a good cycle with a good few times at high swing each side. People only started to scream yesterday on fireball as it reached the height in the pic shown, yet as it only swung that high once it was a single scream.
I am unable to send a link via the Samsung since it had its update yet there is a news story on the edp website and journal about malfunctions on wipeout and mm yesterday. Nothing out of the ordinary and as if it made the news. Clearly a slow news day by a long shot

Lowestoft Journal for ya
I saw the mm incident and it looked pretty much under control everyone was taken down the stairs on the lift hill within minutes
Itâs ridiculous! There was a similar situation at Drayton Manor this week and the media made it out like people had lost there lives
They should stick to brexit
New vlog from theme park worldwide now on you tube. Some great footage of eggspress. However fireball and the pirate ship cycles are awful. Some good improvements to the park. youtu.be/GDGFMVfw-40
