My dad knows someone who works at Pleasurewood Hills in the Maintainance team who was able to give me some inside information.
9 months ago, the maintenance team were briefed with the challenge of bringing Rattlesnake back and he confirmed to me that it is Rattlesnake returning, no doubt about it.
But if they'e putting all the tunnels back on the snake like it once had it's a BIG DEAL. and being a bit bare of for most of it's life over the past 15 years i think it'll feel like new. But if they're just going to be the absolute minimum i'll be really disappointed.
If they have a good year hopefully the flat will come next, or second train for the Cannonball.
anyway., that's too far ahead. Roll on Ladybird

^ it was only bare metal for a few years. They had to get rid of the old tunnel as it was basically rotten and falling apart (same issues as Aladdins Cave tunnel), so I don't blame them making a new one, it's just a shame that they never got around to theming the new tunnel (something that I hope they'll do this time).
And if I'm right in thinking, the second tunnel was removed due to noise, just to please the locals (despite the park being there before them)

We have to remember the holiday hall next door also has residents all year and the snake is very loud, I can hear it in my back garden and I'm near Tesco with the main road...it would be great to have both tunnels back but one thing at a time. It was always going to be the snake. None of the others were likely only enterprise or tempest . Settle for them for 2020. I agree with bubbles a second train for cannonball is beyond a joke now

maybe it wont be as loud this time?
The loudness thing is a joke considering it's only open half the year, and during the day when everyone is at work, and elderly people have hearing problems anyway so probably can't hear it lol
I have to endure the speed boats every summer, and that's during the evening so it's way more intrusive than a theme park during the day.. and speed boats have a droning non stop buzzing sound.. it's horrendous, much prefer the sounds of fun from a theme park that's for sure.

I have to say that it’s very exciting to have prospect of The Rattlesnake returning. If a proper theming job and a nice new station are built then I will be very much looking forward to it.

The Snake will still be loud. Those Tivoli coasters have metal wheels running along metal track, hence all the noise.
Wipeout, Cannonball and Marble Madness all have polyurethane on the wheels, so not only are they a lot quieter whenr they run, it's the wheels that take all the wear and tear. In the case of the Snake, it's the track that takes the wear as well, hence why we're in this situation.
I superpose they can't change the wheels? i would have thought a something new to replace it with would have been designed and developed by now, that works.

So as expected. Shame we have nothing new, it's also being marketed as a new ride on new promotional stuff . Although Thorpe park and Alton have done it. Let's just hope the work done will be long lasting. I still fail to believe that there isn't cash in the budget to wheel in a couple of flat rides

Well it counts as a new ride after being SBNO for 3 years. Simply reopening it will increase rise capacity and has done wonders on social media!
If it’s refurbished to a good standard and the ‘twist’ is decent it will probably work out far better for them than marketing a couple of random flats.
if they can do it properly, with paint and queue line themeing to the standard of the other refurbs I think it will be good... fingers crossed, couple it with one additional flatty plonked on TTT site and that would just give them that extra boost of interest I think for the new season...
The twist is it's Ladybird themed... that was my guess all along but we'll see. could be a Caterpillar i guess. Unless they're going to enclose it... remember those discussions from years ago?
