This weeks waveney advertiser features a pull out guide for great days out in Norfolk and Suffolk. Again like earlier in the year there is no advert for the park no money off voucher and no small article. All the others you expect to be there are advertising, even somerleyton hall has a voucher....there is one mention of it on the map as attraction 52...the back page of the pullout has a advert for the buses which features a odd angle shot of the cannonball....That's it. Another wasted opportunity

Cannonball will definitely be returning! The money being spent will make sure it is ready to run, even if it rains! I've no clue who this nickelodean character is but I'm sure it will be a hit with the younger visitors.
It's a PJ Masks character weekend in September. If this was the "big announcement", I can see why they soon deleted it.
Most parks do things like this, so it's nothing out of the ordinary. I wonder if this one will go ahead though, unlike the ones that just disappeared the other year?
Can't we just have the three costume characters we already have.. we don't need any more.
The Big announcement post is still on Twitter, i suspect it was related to theses cartoon people.
Oh well, got all excited for a moment.

Had a evening walk to the beach tonight. The screens remain on at the pay kiosks and jolly rogers carriage was bot in its park position. Maybe left like this to stop anyone getting on it. Plus the mini dodgems are starting to look better. Looks like new plastic or wood has been put over those ugly supports. Wooden pallets and more remain on the base of the ride. Two pics attached taken the correct way yet I suspect they will not be that way once loaded
So with this good news about atmosfear being on board for the chills... all the previous videos of the mazes from 2013 have been removed from you tube from what I can see... satans circus really was something else... The videos by the way were there until fairly recently as often watched it
that's big news.. i suspect another maze will be on the cards. pit Hobs isn't around anymore, i guess they could spook up the Target Trail but not much you can do with that now.

Dodgems have had more work done, I'll try and get some more pictures at the weekend, Cannonball work appears to be ongoing behind the scenes. Maybe open for the Halloween period according to rumours I've heard but that's only a slim chance.
^^ yes but look at the time scale.... should be done by now, we are in the 6 month of the year and it did seem odd to go to the press with the story it wont be open till may....
I think it’s just a matter of waiting for the parts HOWEVER it’s very strange that a piece of the track has been removed unless it was one of the pieces with the kicker wheels on then I could understand
Sorry about the quality of this photo taken from a moving car, but there appears to be a new structure going up where the mini dodgems queue was matching the theme of the egg spress
Just had a walk up the park on a warm day. The entrie car park needs cutting, looks quite unsightly in places. Not terribly busy. No sign of any cannonball work, fireball just limped barely even half way and made a knocking noise each time too. The mcdonalds sign is still laying face down in what is now overgrown grass
