Just drove up park quick look. Quiet. Fireball went and barely even swings half way up. What a waste. Wipe out got stuck as I arrived on the launch. Two men looking at it now. Fireball doesn't even run for a minute
Lowestoft journal reporting wipe out was stuck for a few minutes today bank holiday Monday. Picture on the article too. Was also stuck last Saturday when I biked up there. A Facebook photo posted shows a rather empty car park for holiday Monday and the comments tell us that the log flume was not running yesterday and not today in the heat for bank holiday Monday. Jolly Roger was stuck at the top for a while yesterday as we're the ponies too.

it's odd of often PWH rides get stuck and broken considering how little they get used. I guess they just get bodged/patched up than properly repaird.. never thinking long term.
Do they still do non ride tickets?

Look east and itv anglia focused on pleasure beach Yarmouth and Africa alive for its Bank Holiday round up both of which boasted there best ever figures it seems. I really don't know how we did but I doubt it was that good
I went to Crealy Adventure Park last week. The difference between these small parks and PWH is staggering. There's just so much to do in such a small space, and they have so many of them extra attractions that PWH used to have, like huge play areas, outside parks, littler water fountain areas for when it's warm... And the park was RAMMED. £21 to get in or £14. Why isn't PWH pushing for a fab discount online?
So so many things they could do to bring people, yet they seem to choose to not to bother. I don't get it and really do worry for the future of the park.
I was of the same thought when I went to Crealy back in 2012. At least 2 huge indoor play areas, massive outdoor play areas and as you say the splash zone which was great on a scorching day. At that time they offered free return to the park so we went back 2 days later. Looks like a few new attractions since then too.
They were offering refillable soft drinks and coffee for a fiver - something the hills has only just started doing (with coffee anyway). It’s actually a really great little family park.
I just don't understand what's stopping PWH from having similar success?
The park is in a great location, it has a lot of space, it has a wealthy parent company and even that special planning consent thing.
The indoor play area is a good start, but it shouldn't be the only "new" attraction really, especially with the removal of some big rides recently.
I feel the park is in the worst state it has ever been in. Yes back in the early 2000's it was a like dumping ground for travelling rides, but it was cheap to get in and peiple got what they expected.
It's no longer cheap to get in, and ride availability has been pretty poor. Most people on social media and review sites are condemning the park. Every man and has dog are saying that the park needs proper investment asap or it won't be here for much longer.
It even feels like we're now past the stage of "new ride" being enough to bring people back. We need another 2012 And "5 new attractions".
New indoor play area, new massive outdoor play next door, Zamperla Endeavour (modern day enterprise) to replace TTT, Vekoma Roller Skater to replace Rattlesnake (could even be "The all new Rattlesnake"). Would make such a big difference to how people see the park. And a baby wooden coaster could really take the park forward, especially with the success of Wicker Man at Towers.
With the new manager, he has had ideas but just too little and too late and making the park take a step backwards by not listening to what poeple want.
I can see the park coming to a end, the park needs someone that will listen and take note and rectify the needs.
It's just an odd one really. They are making good minor improvements to the park, like all the new food outlets, fresh paint all over the park, and the music in certain areas. All great little improvements, but unfortunately none of them will bring people into the park.
Yes it's being dug in rather than being a put up pool. Looks much bigger. Shame it's only seasonal unless this goes further and is heated yet I doubt that
i'm not sure id want a 'dive' show all the time, unless they can use it for different things. I did wonder if they plan on moving the sea lion show eventually, as it would be easier to put rides on that side than backed onto houses? Probs wouldn't be big enough for sea lions i guess.
I don't want to moan lol but this does seem unnecessary and a bit of a waste, most shows don't last long (pariots and sea lions being the exception) so that's a lot of trouble and expense for a temp show. I think it would have looked better at the end of the lake, would have gotten a great view walking towards it, and seeing them do their stuff from a distance.

Yeah it definitely seems like it's going to be more of a permanent addition which is great!
Still can't help but think that money would have been spent on removing and placing Rattlesnake. But then they have said "more exciting news to come" so you never know!
I visit the park today to check it out myself there is a new sign on the back of the ride and above the seats they also have painted the fences and benches near the ride black and white wich I thought looked quite good
No sorry I didn’t take any pics,
The actual drop itself hasn’t been painted they’ll probably do this in the winter wen it’s ground level so you’d have to enter the park to see the changes
But it looks like there’s some good theming taking place with the benches and fences painted the same sort of colour as the ride
