While I think the Dive Show was a good idea - and by most accounts was extremely popular - it seems very odd to have a purpose built theatre at the park sitting totally unused. As I understand it, the "Meet and Greets" happened outside the building?
My gut says that the decision was purely a cost saving measure. But, my hope is that the closure of the building was due to some sort of internal renovations. They did something similar with the main street shop, and we were eventually gifted with Hobs Pit!
Matt, No dive not confirmed at all as yet - yet it goes along what I was told on finale night last year - not long to go before we know as the leaflets should be out soon
With some of the track coming out of the building then heading back in! Unfortunately I would imagine the floor would support such a structure as there is a basement which houses the LL. Neat idea though!
Well LL would have to be removed, but I'm not sure of it would even be big enough, You could probably fit something like the rattle snake inside.
I also don't know what they don't make Woody's Cabin into a new gift shop, and only sell essential souvenirs, it would mean the other building could be used for something else.

Wow !!! Fantastic park footage from around the park and from the air using a drone. The park looked great, marble madness featured heavy and a few interviews. It was all in aid of the football derby this weekend. Itv Anglia broadcast this footage just now on the main evening programme. Could clearly see the former platform supports on the ground too.
So to cover a football story they filmed and interviewed a theme park and it's staff?
Most weird concept I have ever seen, lol but this is ITV I guess.
I hate football, yes I'm a snob but I don't care. :P

Yeh no idea how to put the footage up yet what a great way to promote the park ahead of the opening in 4 weeks. ! Got loads of people to watch it on plus1 an hour later :-)
Regardless of whether or it not it was about the park, it was filmed there.
The name was mentioned plenty of times too, and so was the 'preparation for the new season' etc. It was some good publicity for the park, but they should have mentioned the new ride.
In all fairness though, having experience with this, it's all down to the editing guys back in the studio. Great little promo. That drone shot was amazing. - I'm going to be investing in one!
Yeh the drone footage was wicked Ben. Still Cant see how the dodgems would have worked in that footage to relate it to the topic. I spent four and a bit years in the shadow of media stuff, its difficult.
The Dodgems haven't even been constructed yet, be silly to show them.
Also, Dodgems isn't much of a selling point so it makes sense to focus on the recent coaster.
