RE: 2015

What's this new relief road for? And where abouts is it? I tried looking on google maps but there's nothing on there yet.

It's the final phase of the Lowestoft spine road scheme. Have detailed it all some where before on here. This isn't really needed yet always been planned once it all started way back at north quay/normanston park. The line it's taken can be seen on Google maps yet the maps are so out of date it will prob be some time before the actual road shows on there.

Sorry to post again Cant seem to find edit on mobile. The road starts at the end of millennium way/Bentley drive and goes behind park hill hotel and pleasurewood farm, comes out over blundeston road to the new roundabout ( which was going to be traffic lights ) onto corton long lane and the existing dual carriageway from where I took the large brown road signs photo

More new road signs up today replacing the old ones with the new routes...however for the first time since its 1993 opening direct from the a12 ( on the Tesco/harvester roundabout ) there is a brown road sign gone up actually saying pleasurewood hills with the tree and horse symbol replacing just the former small sign of just the horse and tree. Coming out of Lowestoft towards Tesco the new directional sign has a larger icon than before too !!! So in my opinion they are much clearer than before. Will get a pic soon

Taken from pleasurewood hills Instagram account today. But what's that in the background infront of marble madness? Looks a bit like coaster supports to me...?

Hmmm, definitely supports, but they all look the same size to me. I still don't think it's a coaster.

Interesting to see MM's cars still on the track.

Is there even anything to suggest that they're to do with this new attraction? They could be from something else around the park, stripped down for winter etc (and no, I can't think of anything with green supports!lol)

Rather oddly the signs for the park from the Aldi road now direct u UP the new road to corton roundabout then back DOWN the gunton hill....I know the road is for taking traffic off Bentley drive yet that's a crazy permanent diversion by SCC !!!!

Chances are the council done the signs like that just to show residents that they are trying.

Had a ride out in the frost this morning...the canopies on the walk way are still on which is unusual..fireball remains in the hungry bears spot...a new sign up about the beach walk through and also I think the old gates from the old entrance are now across the road behind enigma to prevent people thinking they can get to the beach.

At the old entrance the new gates look much better and the canopy has gone, cant tell if the train has too..

Much clearer and tidier at the old way in yet there was a metal green thing around and if you look on the photo a new stone wall with wire built around it. The other thing is the compactor waste machine push in bit.

Two months to go !!

I saw some artwork earlier for one of the coasters that are getting refurbished at Bagatelle:

Pretty impressive really. And that's two of their coasters that are getting done up like that.

I wonder if we're going to see any refurbishments this year?

So we now know what the new ride is for 2015. But, does anyone have any predictions on what the Castle Theatre will be used for this season (If anything!).

Who knows. No news yet on whether the dive show will be returning.

That web design company did mention that there's a lot of exciting things going on in the park this year....

Oh yeah, I forgot about the castle... I really hope it gets something this year.
There's bound to be more going on than just a dodgem ride.
