With modern regulations it'd probably need the block sections to be working to run more than one train.
However, if they could get it running two trains, even if they waited until one was parked in offload before dispatching the next, it would be a vast improvement on the current situation - and I'd say two trains on busy days is all they would need.
yeah, and by the time the other train and unloaded, moved to loading platform, people get in ans secure the other one would be almost finished, it'll just speed things up a bit more.

I was speaking to Martyn on Cannonball Express today and he said that all the trains have either been sold off or used for parts@ No hope of a 2nd train - they have all been sold and another cant been bought because its the only model!
Cannonball Express doesn't have much of an future. If the Hills can't be bothered to find a manufacture or don't want to then it's only a matter of time till it meets the same fate as The Rattlesnake. I'm sure the park would be more than happy to wash their hands of this.

I doubt theming it up/refurbishing it would make as much money as a new coaster of flat & thus in their eyes it wouldn't be a worthwhile investment which is a shame with it being the only jumbo V left in the world. But like I've always said, surely there is no point in buying new rides without keeping what they've got looking favourable and working properly. Pragmatically, the fact that they don't appear to be putting any money into it seems to suggest that they cant be bothered.
I think it's like the snake.. if they really wanted to they would have gotten it refurbished and fixed, but they don't want to. The sooner it can be scrapped the better for them as it's one less ride to deal with. They haven't replaced any rides they've gotten rid of, and swapping Hobs to Target trail was partly a cost cutting measure as Target Trail has less moving parts and there for less maintenance. They have nice things but they never bother to look after them.
How long will it be before Marble Madness is only running one train? people are already saying there are less trains on track today than when it opened.. i don't know if this is true??
Family members have suggest going up in the next week, but i honestly can't see anything worth going for. if you're over 13 there's hardly anything to do which is a shame, not really hitting their family targets.. anyway i wont rant on about that. lol

It's 2018, anything is possible for goodness sake. Rattlesnake could have been saved and Cannonball can still have more than 1 train, but PWH will not go choose the sensible option...
But that would mean spending some money, making an effort. They wanted Rattlesnake gone as there slowly trying to cut at end of the park off i'm also surprised they haven't done it always considering there is only two rides down there. lol

Is fireball running a decent cycle like it was before the Ohio state fair accident or is it still awful? If the latter is true then it would also support the cant be bothered attitude.
Also, I would make an assumption that as long as the owners make money still, they will spend as little as they can (i.e. cut back as much as they can get away with) which is very similar to what Merlin seem to be doing at Alton & Thorpe. For example, when I went to Alton in April, skyride was closed for the first part of the day on both days, Rita didn't open at all, the tesla when you first enter the indoor part of th13teen was broken and it repeatedly broke down (the queue also being exponentially larger because of rita being shut didn't help), the monorail carriages where dirty, Galactica had some brilliantly thought out operations where if you wanted to forego the VR, you had to queue to just past the bridge when an op would call out and say that non-VR riders could skip the rest of the queue and could then proceed to wait a single cycle and get on. Oh, and the right station was out of use, and the trains had issues righting themselves. Also, wicker man spent more time closed than open and on the second day, as hotel guests we got early ride time on it. This, to our wonderment, turned out to be early queue time, where the park had opened by the time that people where allowed to enter the extension queue and there where multiple attempts by people who had just arrived to queue jump which was greeted very courteously by the people in the extension queue as one might expect. Then the ride itself had absolutely abhorrent operations. I counted 5 minute dispatches at some points. Oh and then everyone also loved this, they let the fastrack on. Oblivion, while on 5 trains, was also being operated in a curious manner, where only one station was being operated and there where only 2 members of staff on the platform and trains where being filled only with fast track holders with no attempt to fill any extra seats. This meant that trains where stacking on the brake run for 5 minutes. Strangely, nemesis was on 2 trains with 40 second dispatches and was essentially walk on for both of the says I was there and the Smiler was being run decently as well.
I could say some similar things about Thorpe park but that would probably be excessive. I just hope that this isn't the same objective of the owners of PWH; make money by doing the minimum (& also sorry for the rant).
The loss the park makes isn't an issue for the owners, they wont mind running it at a loss as they have it purely for tax reasons, hence they don't bother will to much spending, and why it can still keep open and not make money. In some ways it's a good thing otherwise it would have shut down long ago.

i will be on site bank holiday weekend, I noted jolly the other night was not all the way down, it was "left" a little up the tower. Perhaps to stop anyone jumping or sitting on it at night ?
Do you think Cannonball has seen any improvements?
Sadly, I can see the hills doing the same thing as they did with Rattlesnake, running it into the ground, SNBO for a couple of years then bringing it back re-branded.
"If they wanted to add another train to Cannonball, they would have to upgrade the whole electrical system costing tens of thousands of pounds. Not only would they need to spend that money, but they would also need to buy a new train."
