Interesting, good find Coolskin... Is the "New" thing with the girl holding a laser gun definitely a reference to last seasons Target Trail or something else? She appears to be standing up?
I was there for the interviews and i havnt seen any new rides, while I’ve got a training day coming up and i’ll Look out for new rides, I don’t think there will be.
Saying that while working there last year rumours were flying around about an upside down swing ride, similar sort of thing to tempest
Also I don’t k ow if anyone remembers but the train kept breaking down over pleasurewood chills due to coming of the tracks and because of this it needs a new track so that might of been a priority
I wish they had offered me an interview but I was right at the back of the theatre and one of the last to hand in my application. None of my friends who where near me got one either. I applied for Halloween last year and upon ringing the reception it transpired that my application apparently disappeared into thin air (which was strange because when I applied I spoke to the operations manager who seemed really nice) so whatever I guess...
I wonder if the central mechanism for TTT will be removed before opening? It will look really unprofessional otherwise.
i suspect that's Easter promotion, they never have new rides open or ready for Easter, Target Trail being promoted as new seems like a good idea. I'm sure a new proper ride will arrive for the summer. Plus Easter is early this year, the weather will be naff as usual and the Park is never ready for Easter break.. never. So don't expect much.

i dont think we will get a new ride and the booklet link i put up would have been published i reckon january or maybe even december. It will be a case of wait and see the most we can expect would be a trailer ride I reckon. No rattlesnake or TTT thats two off the list already
This "Tempest" style ride has been popping up a few times now, and I've been heard it myself from the horses mouth. Let's just keep our fingers crossed I guess.
I suppose you still have to think of it as another ride. As we have said before our current pirate ship is getting very old and tired, it barely reaches the height it used to! Any news on the Indoor Play Area? PWH doesn't seem to be doing much marketing for it.
Pirate is still intact.. yes like the sky screamer bubbles yet it was a giant one. Use to live where Marble Madness now is, there are pics of it on the old ride section. It was actually really scary the motors use to conk out all the time...when it was going round
sky screamer was a bit of a squeeze, and a bit too fair ground, if it was well themed, made permanent and put in a good place something like that would be great. I don't know what voyager was i never saw that one.
So many rides gone over the past 2 years with almost no replacements.

By "Tempest style ride" I mean a ship that goes the whole way over, without it actually being the old Tempest ride ;)
I really don't understand what's going on with PWH at the moment. Why are they wasting time and money on this Mad Hatters thing? Could flop majorly given you need to pay an extra £12 to watch it.
The 2012-14 investments were really good for the park, without costing the earth. Why aren't we seeing investments like that anymore?
4 years now since Marble Madness arrived, and all we've seen since is the Waveswinger and Hyper Drive, with the removal of 4 other rides (TTT, TotC, Sky hooks and Rattlesnake) the castle theatre show and the Merry Mariner.
I just don't understand why PWH gets so little investment when it's sister parks are seeming getting cash flows regularly.
In general the park is in a much better condition than it was 10 years ago, but why is no body willing to take a gamble with the little park? With CdA and Loopings, we've had 2 really big owners, and Wipeout has been only real gamble, 11 years ago. These big owners have gone to the effort to purchase the park, yet they've not really done anything with it?
Just look on Google maps, there is still so much space and so much potential. Could easily fit a proper rapids ride where Wavebreaker is, and even a small Wooden coaster on the go kart track. Neither of those would cost the earth, and could you imagine the impact they would have on the park?!
I'm grateful that PWH is in good hands, but I'm also frustrated that they seemingly don't ever want to take the park forward to the next level, when they so easily could.
Well when people can no longer afford to holiday in Europe thanks once we leave the EU people may holiday at home instead and places like PWH might make some money. I do wonder why theses big company bother with it if they're not going to make it special. The ticket prices keep going up but there's nothing to show for it. you're paying a lot more and now getting less things to do. It doesn't help when the on site management and running of the park don't keep it in top shape.
They did take a just gamble with Hobs, it worked and then they let to rot as usual, in fact it was that 30th Birthday when they really made an effort. They have made some stupid mistakes like buying Hyper drive and knocking down TOTC. Love the addition of the Waveswinger however.
But they wont get much cash flow if they can't generate any profit, and theses high price shows on top of normal admission is just wrong. It might work of the shows were on after hours, and treated as a separate thing.
Are they doing the non ride tickets this year? I think they're a great idea.
They should try a Tyrolean tub ride
