Marble Madness Downtime

I got stuck on Marble Madness 2 times in the season, one at the bottom before the pull hill and the other at the top after the pull hill. I visited the park 3 times and in total, I saw the ride break down 6 times (including the ones I rode on).

They got us all down promptly though and were offered free return tickets both times and everything was done safely.

They have only 2 carts going around at once now.

What is happening to the ride? Could they plan to close it?

Marble Madness to be removed?

I doubt they'll close it, they need it desperately but i'm not surprised to hear it may run with two or one carts.

I suppose so, I asked the man on HyperDrive (can't remember name be he is always the op when I go there) if it breaks down often and he laughed and said all the time. When I broke down on it I was told that the carts aren't going fast enough and are triggering sensors activating breaks.

RE: Marble Madness Downtime

That would make sense because they probably don't it stalling on the top on the corners. They have always been really fussy about it in the rain (I've been before when it was barely raining and they wouldn't run it) and they never let people ride on their own either (at least from experience) and would require at least two people.

How would rain effect it? The ride has its own wet mode so is designed to run, in light rain, this should not be a problem.
