Yeah the video isn't the best, but the photos on the parks Facebook page look very neat.
Good to hear that they repaired some of the cars to help with the capacity. I hope this theme continues around the park, there are too many rides with poor capacity.
The lovely people at Pleasurewood Hills have kindly provided Unofficial Pleasurewood with a selection of photographs showing the refurbishment works carried out on the Rootin Tootin Target Trail, with plenty of close-up shots for you to peruse. Thanks guys!
The majority of these images are taken before the final 'drawing up' and detailing work was done. Images no. 2 and 4 are good examples that show how we tried to use false perspective to give the appearance of a larger space. Image no. 2 is the view that riders see as they approach, image no. 4 is taken from an angle that riders don't see (and the effect doesn't work from this angle).
Big fan of RTTT... it's a solid family attraction and good fun too. The theming looks great up close as well and people seemed to really enjoy it! The only downsides really would be the lack of moving scenery and the low capacity that the ride has as the queue (when there is one) does move very slowly.
Yeah Hobs queue was something else entirely haha! Still the cars themselves don't seem brilliantly spaced... queue would appear to move fairly speedily and then stop for quite a while.
It's not a huge issue for somewhere like PWH but i did find it rather slow going when there was one.
