My sister visited the hills this Tuesday and didn't give great feedback, she said that hyper drive felt very slow and made it near impossible to catch anyone up. She also said that there was some kind of no bumping into other people rule in place, not too sure if that's 100% true, can't see how they wouldn't allow collisions on dodgems?
They still don't have all of the sodding cars on....
On the plus side though, the working cars did seem to be a lot faster than before (referring to last Sunday compared to April and May). It was, however, very frustrating to have people hit the side of the track, get stuck then stare blankly at the ride op when they where told to "turn the wheel all the way in the other direction from the wall and accelerate", resulting in the stoppage of a ride with an already reduced capacity and the increased irritation of a queue full of people who got in line thinking "oh, that lines not too bad" who have already waited 15 minutes.

Sadly, it seems to be an issue with the cars. For some reason these cars do not reverse on full lock, unlike most other bumper cars as I found out myself in June...
What are the other set of dodgems like? i haven't been on those since the first year they were opened.. lol
Could they use those cars on the new track??

The ones by Rattlesnake? I'd say they're arguably just as good, if not better than hyperdrive. They aren't in perfect working order, a few don't work, but I don't see why they couldn't re use the majority of them.
Don't quote me on this, but I remember someone somewhere saying something about the new park manager not giving a rats arse about the park. Didn't even know they had a new manager, must have been living under a rock. Bear with me and my lack of knowledge, when was Alexis Camelin manager? Was he the one who left and got replaced or am I just mad?
Alexis left a couple of years ago, his replacement (who i forget the name of) was the guy who disliked Hobs Pit and hated the internet due to rumours regarding the refurbishment of Enigma, and i assume he's still manage today.
Can't be a coincidence that the park has been doing down hill over the past two years.

The park seriously needs someone with fresh, modern ideas. They're really wasting Enigma is the ride itself is amazing. As Cannonball, it was actually something I went to the park to ride. Now it's just dire.
Well there was something about him getting fed up with internet rumor and he mentioned Enigma, this is why we don't get any inside information anymore.

They have never run it on full capacity, even in the summer. I still think it was a waste of money for a 'filler attraction'. You could easily bring the chair swings under the semantic meaning of a 'filler attraction' and the chair swings is a perfect example of what a filler attraction should be because it looks good and provides a decent experience. Hyperdrive does neither of those things which begs the question, why did they buy such a sub standard attraction when they have shown that they can do a perfectly adequate job with landscaping/theming, thus making the place look shoddy and run down?
well maybe they've done it up?
The money could have been spend fixing the current bumper cars which are a lot better and fin anyway.. they should have moved them to the new spot and refurbished and themed it, would have been far superior.
