Just read the news that Matt has decided to pack the website in after 6 years. I'd personally like to thank him for his hard work in getting this site up and keeping it up to date over the years. And also providing this forum (which will continue) where we have some great guys on board.
Matt thanks again! Sorry to see the site go :(

Shame after all the hard work has gone in and all the old stuff no longer to view - a few of us worked hard to get lots of stuff to Matt
I am pleased with the forum yet there really is only two or three tops who post enough now days - big shame - yet I am staying and I know you and martyn and Matt will too !!!
I've always seen this site to be such an interesting resource for fans of Pleasurewood, and possibly theme park enthusiasts looking to research smaller parks! Of course personal life can get in the way of these things, which is understandable. It'd be a shame to see all the hard work that's been put into the site go forever so it's great that Ben's showing an interest to maintain it. :)
I might not post the most, but I do regularly lurk, and although I haven't been in a few years, PWH holds some fond memories with me. I hope to visit again soon, I just love to see how it's progressing in the meantime. :D
Hi guys, thanks for all the positive comments and sorry for the delayed response this evening...
It was a tough decision to close the main site, it's something I've been mulling over for some time. I haven't lost interest at all, but must admit that the time I have available these days is a real issue. This, combined with the lack of insider info this season has had an impact on visitor numbers to the main site. Page views across the site were 3-4 times lower than in previous seasons. I spent more than ever this year on Google ads and Facebook promotions this year, but to no avail. Quite honestly, I didn't want the site to just fizzle out!
Therefore, my plan is to beef-up the message board by integrating the best bits of the main site into it. That way all of the most popular things such as the Past Maps, Leaflets and Photos will be available to the real hardcore visitors who have been involved in the discussions over the years.
(PS: The main site will still be accessible until all the main content is transferred into the Message Board)
Thanks for all the comments recently... After a lot of thought, I have decided to keep the main website online with a few tweaks. The changes should help to ensure that the site remains as up-to-date as the forum with less admin work for me! (Which was the main problem I had before.)
You will notice a new "Latest News" section of the forum. The Unofficial Pleasurewood Homepage now links directly to the top 5 stories in this section. I would encourage users to submit any Pleasurewood Hills related news stories within this section. (Please mention the source of your story so that it can be verified.)
Looks like a great idea. Just to reiterate Matt's point - if you post any stories try and make sure they are genuine or at least have a source. Also just for neatness try and keep the format of the topic title as Matt has done so everything looks uniform and near for the front page of the site.
I do like the idea of latest news on the front page, looks slick too.
