I attended the Murder Mystery event at Yesterday's World last night and was really impressed. I've posted a review on Trip Advisor, but thought I'd share it on here too:

Murder Mystery in Great Yarmouth
Having lived in Great Yarmouth all my life, I'm always on the look out for something different to do with friends. I heard through Facebook that Yesterday's World were planning a Murder Mystery evening and was really keen to give it a try.
I attended the evening as part of a group of four. We were ushered through to the Victorian Tearoom, which was renamed "The Tavern" for the evening. We were given some leaflets to read, given a bit of background on the characters we would meet, and shown to the buffet.
We have visited the tearooms at Yesterday's World before, and knew the quality of the food was good. We weren't disappointed. From scones with healthy dollops of jam and cream to a nice variety of sandwiches, there was plenty of choice. We were also offered a good variety of (non-alcoholic) drinks.
As we ate, the cast of characters began to mingle with the guests. The interactions were excellent and all the characters ad-libbed without hesitation whenever a question was fired at them. Whenever we heard a whistle, we were taken into the main attraction where a part of the story would unfold. As we made our way through the building, we were also on the look out for a number of objects which would unlock clues to who the killer might be.
After watching a number of scenes, and revisiting The Tavern to grab some more refreshments, it was time for the climax of the story. I won't spoil the ending but it was both exciting and eerie in equal measure. The acting was excellent throughout, and there was a sense that guests were shaping the dialogue by shouting things out.
We made a final return to The Tavern, where we decided who we thought the murderer was. My group got the answer completely wrong, but it took nothing away from our overall experience!
We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were impressed with how much interaction we could have with the actors. There is nothing else like this in Great Yarmouth and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a break from the usual seafront activities.
We were there on their busiest night of the year so far (I think). There were a total of 70 people, I believe.
We sat on tables of individual small groups. Some of the time in the main attraction was as one large group, and some of it was spent exploring in our own small groups and interacting with the actors.
It was a really nice mix and kept us interested the whole time.
Two a week during the summer hols, I think. They are preparing to do a scarier event for halloween. Considering the size of the attraction, there will be plenty of dark, gloomy places for the actors to lurk in.
If you do fancy coming along to one of the dates, (try something different?) I can offer you an exclusive discount of £12pp (Usually normal price: £29.99, Groups of four or more £15pp or £17pp for groups of 3 or less).
