I really like them billboards, they'll leave most people with a "oooo what's that?" feeling with Hyper Drive.

I am reliably informed that today was a successful opening day and the park are pleased with the turnout (especially considering the windy weather). Hyper Drive had a successful opening day with Woody having the first ride. Photos will be added to the official Facebook page soon.

That's brilliant to hear Matt, thanks for sharing the info.

Have they finally got rid of the opening day blues?

The new woody looks quite good I think and good to see pictures of the hyper drive up and running and also the veteran car refreshment too. Good stuff

I didn't realise the "real life" Woody would look different this season too! Nice to see though, as it keeps it all consistent with the marketing materials.

I personally don't like the new look Woody costume, he genuinely looks quite creepy. The old one was cute!

Brief mention of the park tonight on ITV Anglia news where they were interviewing a family about where and what they were doing over Easter 2015 which sets the tone for how the season will fair for many attractions

I'm not to keen on the new look woody, moreover paying out for a new costume doesn't seem like a good investment.

Word from the park is that Tide Traveller WILL be operating this season. No info on when this will be, though.

Hasn't that been the rides status for the last couple of seasons? 😁

I'm quite disappointed that they haven't really done anything with Fireball.

New signage on both sides of the gates at leisure way. Left side advertises hyper drive and the right has welcome on. Look nice

Took a bike ride up this afternoon. Car park was half full so I expect it was a steady day on site. Also took pic of the new signage yet will upload asap as Cant via mobile.

weather is been pretty poor as usual, so not being open on the Monday and Tuesday paid off.
I guess it's kept fairly dry theses last couple of days so hopefully they've been quite busy.

I can predict it will not be a very successful Easter, it never is when it's so early.

Official Easter Update:

The team at Pleasurewood Hills have provided Unofficial Pleasurewood with some information on how the Easter holidays are going so far. Firstly, the park are receiving positive feedback for Hyper Drive.

The re-themed Veteran Cars - which will receive further improvements when the park is closed - are also proving popular. All new planting has been put in place on the ride, with tropical and bamboo plants. By next year it will be fully established and have grown extensively.

The park have also added a new added sound system in the kiddie area and on the Safari ride which has reportedly turned the areas into a more exciting place for younger children and families.

Tales of the Coast is currently open temporarily, but may close in the near future.

Nothing we didn't already know I guess.

I don't see the point in closing TOTC unless they're ready to start pulling it apart.
