Oh dear! I just found myself singing along to the Pleasurewood Hills radio advert in my car. #If you want a great day out that's perfect for the family...#

I'm still not overly keen on the Woody voice, but the jingle obviously does what it's designed to do! It's stuck in my head now!

Half term has proven quite busy so I understand... lots of traffic on Leisure way at 5.30 pm each night and the bus stop has been rammed with kids and teenagers a like so all in all the may whitsun half term has been good ( helped by mostly dry weather ).

Was also good to see a Ipswich bus heading home down the A12 with "excursion pleasurewood hills" scrolling across it this evening.

In a separate thing a new Lowestoft idea/scheme has been introduced and it looks very much to me a rollercoaster on the logo.....

With the rattlesnake at chessington being withdrawn for new protocol checks do we think the same will happen with marble madness ?

I was going to ask the same question but is MM running with less cars? It seems Merlin are being ultra careful with their multi-car coasters. If there is extra safety to be had then why shouldn't PWH employ it on MM?

I think this may have been mentioned in the past, but the homepage of the official Pleasurewood Hills site now includes the audio from their radio advert.

Josh - Merlin have added extra layers and protocols and I understand that it is to train staff - it seems its for multi car coasters which can also include other Merlin attractions that have not been closed.

Pwh have today posted that they do not in anyway support the vile comments and opinions expressed since the smiler incident. I suspect something somewhere has triggered this. This world is full of awful people. They extend their thoughts and wishes to the injured and all team Alton

It was a meme, I actually shared it (I didn't make it) but upon consideration and PWH's comment I deleted it from my timeline. After thinking about it it was in poor taste and I must stress that I fully support the theme park industry and also share my sympathies with the victims.

I have just seen it as a mate sent me it from a screen shot. Its disgusting and I am so glad the park have made a comment on it. Facebook needs to have this group and image banned. Awful

Oh trust me. We have been doing absolutely everything possible to get this removed. A polite message was sent to the "page" however this was just laughed off.

I have tried to report the image via Facebook however it apparently doesn't violate their terms and conditions. So I urge you all to report, unlike, unpost and do your part to hopefully put an end to this.

Thanks

I literally just reported it but you can't report it directly - you have to say "I don't want to see this" then say why and it will let you report it.

PWH won't have to do anything with MM, it's just Merlin getting the point across to the public that they're taking this incident seriously.

I personally think that Merlin couldn't have dealt with it any better. Compare the young man who died at Terra Mitica last year...did they even close the park?

Are you getting this response?

It seems the only thing would be to request its removal again.

Other people on my feed are sharing it and uploading it themselves, so it's unlikely to go away I'm afraid.

I haven't seen it, certainly not been posted on my facebook feed.

But it doesn't surprise me such a thing is out there, happens all the time.

I think the majority of it is shared from the original post, I believe if the source goes all the shares go. It'll blow over in a couple of days I should think.

It said a ride got stuck and some of the kids had to be harnessed down today. It's on the Merlin passes annual chat Facebook page thing. Cant edit other post and Cant post screenshot from mobile either. I'm guessing the mini drop tower ?

Using the avalanche certainly raised my eyebrows!lol
