NEW Old Park Maps

The lovely people at Pleasurewood Hills have unearthed an old park map which we don't currently have on here. I need your help in identifying which year it is from... Is it 2003 or 2004?

A new (old) park map

I've been looking through these bits and pieces for clues but haven't managed to work out the year so far.

it has the Frisbee on it which was rented for a season before peter and peggy bought fireball so this map must be 2003... I have a photo of me on Frisbee too....

that map has to be 2003 to have Frisbee on it... the caterpillar was a diesel driven ride like caterpillar at GYPB it can be seen from the 1997 Christian worship Anglia tv show, I have mentioned it before yet no one has ever commented on it. Think it lasted one season and sat where magic mouse did opp sky screamer

Well, we only had the Mega Drop for two seasons: 2003 and 2004. And Fireball opened in 2004, so this map must be from 2003.

If I'm right in thinking, this isn't the first time they've produced two maps for one year? (I think I remember us discussing it on here even...)

Weird, isn't it! My guess is that this was the chain of events...

Pre-opening 2003: Leaflets were made promoting the new ride as being called "Extreme" (AKA an Afterburner).
Opening 2003: Problems meant that the Afterburner was not ready. Owners hired in a Frisbe ride instead to offer something close to what people were expecting.
2004: The afterburner finally arrives and is promoted as New.

If you have a smart phone or tablet, play it on your tv and record it on your phone/tablet?

Good call Martyn. We don't need ultra high quality, as long as we get the gist.

This website gives some information on how to upload to Youtube using a Free DVD ripper to convert the files. Alternatively, you might be able to save the video onto your computer and send it to me via a file sharing site?

The good people at Pleasurewood Hills have helped to fill another gap in the history of Pleasurewood Hills.
