Ben did confirm that AtmosFEAR were on board but I think a lot changed when he and Alexis left. It's a shame that they won't be going for a similar feel to last year as the comments on Facebook are very positive for last year and I fear people will return this year to be disappointed. However, there's nothing stopping them doing another Hobs Pit:Live and a Tales of the Haunted Coast. The Trick or Treat was simple and effective too. I just hope they don't go back to the boring "decoration only" affair of previous years - it will be a sore disappointment for many and will possibly hurt any future investment in the Halloween event.
I don't see why the Horror Express couldn't return either, it's certainly doable.
I have spoken to the park directly and am reliably informed that "Extreme Horror Evenings" will feature again this season. The park are staying tight lipped about their plans, but the team are very excited about the event.
Another Facebook update about Pleasurewood Chills... they're still not giving much away though:
"Don't forget to visit us between 25 October - 2 November 2014 for Pleasurewood CHILLS. A fun filled spooky week for the whole family! Keep checking Facebook and our website for more information about our EXTREME Horror Evenings if your dare!"
They really need to advertise both sides of it then, if that is the case. Alton Towers do it very well with their day time event for kids and evening event for adults.
They have referred to "Extreme Horror Evenings" on Facebook a few times. Maybe they will be doing something similar to Alton Towers this season and splitting the attractions into daytime family stuff and night time extreme attractions.
Yeah they should try and push for that! Worst case is probably that the likes of Wipeout and Rattlesnake wouldn't be able to run past 6pm, which would be a good compromise if you ask me.
A teeny bit more info about Pleasurewood Chills on Facebook...

Pricing for Halloween will be updated in the near future, please check our Facebook page and website for future updates.

how can it be disappointing when this is how it was last year ? its the same set up as last year in terms of time - there was more than enough time to do it all when I was there on the last two days of season end 2013 - ( ok maybe because it was not that busy )
If the extreme follows how it did last year then the terror ticket attractions re "ramped up" in this time period
Yeah opened at 12pm so it reads in the 2013 chills topic.
It shouldn't be a huge issues, they must be taking last year into consideration and decided 12 was way to early.
I think 4 is a bit too late, maybe a 3pm start instead.

It's always the cracked ones that let the light in.
But even on a quiet day, the queue for Hobs Pit can be up to 1 hour long, and given how popular last year's event was, I can see it being a pretty busy week.
