Previously Unseen Logo Concepts

Pleasurewood Hills have kindly provided Unofficial Pleasurewood with some logo concepts from the past which never saw the light of day.

The logos date back to around 2005 and were created for the park's previous owners by Norwich based marketing agency "Creative Sponge". The designs were made at a time when the park was moving towards a maritime theme, which is clearly reflected in many of these designs.

These are interesting to see certainly. That would be great to see more stuff like this if it exists. I don't like any of the designs myself.

Not a fan of any of them either TBH. Some look like a 5 minute Word Art job :)

I suppose they were just rough concepts for idea purposes rather than fully designed logos hence why they look a bout rough around the edges.

None of them particularly stand out to me... Many of them look ideal for swimming pools or water parks, but not for PWH!

Interesting to see the Jolly Roger incorporated into a couple of the logos... just a few years too early to be relevant!

Ooh, very interesting!

The only ones that even slightly work though are 2 & 5. I'm so glad what we have now though... It's modern, fresh and eye-catching.

the best thing about PWH is that it is close to the sea so that is a possible theme

2 and 5 might look a bit creepy though

1st one is a bit 'meh'

maybe a play on the word 'wood' would work i.e they did a great job on the 'Pleasurewood Chills' logo - that looks great

mayeb a play on 'wood' and 'water' could work as it's near trees and the sea - which maybe links to maritime and wooden ships

Yeah, they're all awful. I hope PWH is no longer working with them!lol

The actual font from 2, 5 and 7 was used for a little while around 2005-07ish (annoyingly we dont have any of them brochures on the site to show....)

Mmmmmmmmmm! They look as if they are coursework from a GCSE student. On produced on Microsoft Word.
I liked the funfair style logo before this current one.

Thank goodness none of these ever made it as far as production! The best logo the park has ever had is 1995-96 time. No question.

I really hope they didn't pay to get them drawn up.
Anyone one working at the park could have done a better job during their lunch break.

Wasn't so keen on that.
I still prefer the previous one.
