Not going to go into too much detail, just a few notes:
Considering the lovely weather (and FB 2-4-1), I was very disappointed by how few people were there. This was nade very obvious come 2pm when the SA show was underway - the place went dead.
TTT was not lifting off the ground (although it is quite a forceful ride on the ground!). JR not working. Chairlft not working. Large Train not working. Fireball gave us a long enough ride, but still well short of the max. swing.
Main St./Sq. is currently a miss-mash of Maritime theming and Mine entrance theming (Hobs Pit) and there is work still to be done re: atmosphere. (Hobs Pit alone isn't going to resolve this)
The queue lane for Enigma looks like it has had new wood for its entire length so thats a good sign of the rest (fences etc) being done at a later date.
Woody's Tea Party or 'T Cups' as the signage states (theres that good old PWH attention to detail again!) has a very bizarre height limit. Basically you have to be between 1m and 1.4m to ride. Now thats upsetting alot of kids under 1m who such a ride is essentially aimed at. Ice Cream kiosk from opp. Fireball is now in the Kiddie Area with a nice shelter built besides (although this needs more pic-nic tables). The kiddie zone is my fave area of the park, it'll be buzzing in the summer.
Woody Bear was around quite a bit, having a go on the rides which the kids loved. This needs to continue. Also noted someone going around trying to flog soft toys or something, and have heard they sell umbrellas when it rains. A very good move!
Moby Dick looks very smart, really looking forward to this when it opens.
The trip was mostly for the kids and they loved it like they usually do. Highlight must have been first rides on Wipeout and Fireball for my 8yr old!
Also, the Peddle boats were parked outside the maintence area as were what looked like Hobs Pit cars in an unpainted state.
All-in-all 6/10 for me but as a family a good solid 8/10.

Yeah sorry about that. I went straight from work at lunchtime to meet the wife and kids who were already there. The wife had my phone when we split up, otherwise I would've got the Peddle boats and Hobs Pit cars.
:blahblah:

Locals live busy lives, and I doubt there is many 'tourists' around at the moment. And many people are waiting on the new rides and overall better weather, more so hearing Two of their key rides aren't working properly.
I honestly think PWH is wasting it's time being open this time of year (other then the school breaks) If you think about it.. it's lost profits almost every day so fair by the sounds of things :(
"Fireball is now in the Kiddie Area" Really?????

Yeah it's always been quite forceful when it's on the ground.
Hopefully once this new part is fitted, it will be sorted for once and for all. Seems like it's been a pain in the backside ever since they refurbed it.
Is the pirate ship still going strong? From what I could decipher from the other day it was rather juddery when coming down.. And also it doesn't seem to go anywhere near as high anymore.
When you ride a pirate ship with it sails not in tatters then it makes a helluva difference. The pirate ship at PA was like riding a completely different ride! But PWH's pirate ship is 28 years old (if it was new when they got it) so it's bound to be a little rusty these days. Shame that PWHs older rides seem to be all in need of refurbishment :(
I know the tyre controls speed and I know it is supposed to judder. Just not sideways! Seriously feels like something on the main support arm is loose!
