It didn't take long for Hobs to fizzle out did it, I said it wouldn't be long before it stops working and becomes Tales of the coast.
But then I've read some people had a great time on it.
There should at least have 6 people on those boats, I know people like to ride together but you shouldn't be letting just two people ride if there's a massive queue.
It's a pity to hear everyone wants everything to be so 'scary' it's Halloween, not horror gore-fest, plus everyones difference, I mean i'm shocked to here people are scared of clowns, yet a room with a dog sitting in it i'll crap myself. lol
I get the impression it was all a bit hit and miss, which isn't bad when it was their first real Halloween event, i'm still curious to know if they got the numbers in required.

Dont get me wrong, it was still a very good event. Probably the best event the park has ever put on, it was just lacking in certain areas. And I'm disappointed that Hobs Pit was a bit naf.
It was a great effort - I never mentioned TOTC but we did go on it over Halloween...very long wait and just the three of us in the boat - no atmosphere at all waiting or in general but a couple of jumpy bits.
TOTC along with the snake in the grass are in desperate need of a revamp. I'm not sure what could be done with the poor boat ride, it's a slow gentle thing. But that Aladdin theme worked really well, it just needs to be interesting.

Aladdin was definitely my favourite version of the attraction. I can still clearly remember all the water features, sound effects and of course the dragon.
Was there anything different in there between 2002 and 2006? I've just noticed that on the 2002 map, the name of the ride is listed as "Fantasy Boat Ride". I seem to recall a visit to the park around this time and only adults accompanying children were allowed to ride.
Just managed to answer my own question with a bit of Googling... In 2004, one of the staff at the park posted this to another message board:
"Now the Fantasy Boat Ride is an underwater scene, designed by our in house artists. Instead of brushing through the curtains you enter an airlock style area before entering a UV illuminated room with a lot of fish on sticks, the dragons tale is still there though (strange)."

Anyone else see that version?
Haha !!! yes remember when the tail was still seen when the front was not !!! so the air lock style is 10 years old next season....
Just bring it back with a few new features like AT do with their popular mazes, no harm in that. The horror express should definitely change, possibly put some false walls around the station canopy and make it a lot bigger?
Fantastic! I hope some of the satans circus music is included - although I need to purchase the soundtrack - will this be for sale in 2014 and does it contain all the horror attractions music ?
I just realised that I've lost the disc!! I am a car salesman and I had it in my old demo which got sold last week. Damn, always check the CD player!!
Here's the covers though, I picked those up... something for the gallery page Matt. The artwork credit goes to Ben Rowe. Sam Haynes produced the music and can be found at www.hauntmusic.co.uk. He has some other CDs available on his website.

I must admit I thought I didn't recognise the music on the album but in all honesty I can't really remember the music in Satan Circus due to the awesomeness within!
PS Artwork post edited for credit where it's due Ben ;)

If you didn't make it to Pleasurewood Chills last season (or if you chickened out of Satan's Circus, as many people did!) you can now see the full experience online.
