I always thought most of the rides were rented, due to them coming and going quite frequently. Maybe they used to be, due to the way they've been plonked on the plot they just look 'borrowed'

That used to happen pre 2005 (dont think CdA ever leased a ride...?), during the days of the Mega Dance, MegaSpin Rollover, Mega Drop, Octopus, Canyon Raft, Sky Screamer. Basically, when the place was more like a crappy fairground.
for the Pleasurewood Ponies ride - have you considered themeing it with more plants, hedges and flowers? - could even get a garden designer to theme it - would be great for their portfolio and would make the ride look really inviting (could approach a well known garden designer too).

Out of interest, how many of your 'dreams' have captured the imaginations of those with the cash? You mentioned a 5 year plan, how likely is all this stuff going to happen and will it be across that timeframe? I'm just interested to know how much is fantasy and how much is stuff we can look forward to :)
They're not just my dreams. The team at PWH all really have some grand ideas. Some we can do on park - others we need support from our parent company, who to be fair; have done wonders for the park since they purchased it. We know there are areas we need to improve. I really believe what you see as the perfect Hills, isn't far from what we (PWH) really want to get to. It just won't overnight.
The new Hobs Pit ride has been developed working with a world renowned special effects expert and a voice actor whom usually work in the USA on theme parks such as Disney and Universal Studios.

This is information that has been leaked by me over the past few weeks - Enjoy.
I can't really talk about other plans at the moment. Let's get this year's attractions open. - Then see. (That's not to say I haven't had conversations about some awesome stuff!)
Are you able to tell us anything about what sort of coaster it was? Like manufacturer, size, type, cost etc? Or if that land is still earmarked for a coaster?
