Correct. We shall never rent under this management.

Truly how near was the park to financial trouble in previous years? Or can this not be answered..

I always thought most of the rides were rented, due to them coming and going quite frequently.
Maybe they used to be, due to the way they've been plonked on the plot they just look 'borrowed'

Wow, that attendance figure seems really poor. I know the summer was pretty crap last year but that must have been well short of expectations?

Heres my question, WHY were the trees behind Fireball cut down a couple of years ago???

When Enigma has finished it's upgrade will it be able to run in all types of rain, or will it still suffer when we get "The wrong type of rain"

Just thought of another one....

Why are the thrill rides e.g. Fireball/TTT run a short cycles but things like the Kite Flyer run for 3 minutes or more? Is it just a cost thing?

That used to happen pre 2005 (dont think CdA ever leased a ride...?), during the days of the Mega Dance, MegaSpin Rollover, Mega Drop, Octopus, Canyon Raft, Sky Screamer. Basically, when the place was more like a crappy fairground.

for the Pleasurewood Ponies ride - have you considered themeing it with more plants, hedges and flowers? - could even get a garden designer to theme it - would be great for their portfolio and would make the ride look really inviting (could approach a well known garden designer too).

the imaeg on this link is a good example http://pleasurewoodhills.activeboard.com/t45569124/the-lighthouse-pleasurewood-ponies/?page=7

also have you considered coloured plants around the park?

Now that the park has a dedicated 'Kids Zone' are we likely to see the attempt at any other self-contained areas which are themed?

Yes, but hasn't been decided yet. It depends on how brave we are ;)

Out of interest, how many of your 'dreams' have captured the imaginations of those with the cash? You mentioned a 5 year plan, how likely is all this stuff going to happen and will it be across that timeframe? I'm just interested to know how much is fantasy and how much is stuff we can look forward to :)

They're not just my dreams. The team at PWH all really have some grand ideas. Some we can do on park - others we need support from our parent company, who to be fair; have done wonders for the park since they purchased it. We know there are areas we need to improve. I really believe what you see as the perfect Hills, isn't far from what we (PWH) really want to get to. It just won't overnight.

The new Hobs Pit ride has been developed working with a world renowned special effects expert and a voice actor whom usually work in the USA on theme parks such as Disney and Universal Studios.

Rob Ostir
Corey Burton

This is information that has been leaked by me over the past few weeks - Enjoy.

A coaster had been purchased to go there. The deal fell through (not on our part). - As did a few trees!

Are you able to tell us anything about what sort of coaster it was? Like manufacturer, size, type, cost etc? Or if that land is still earmarked for a coaster?

Wow what a shame... I said at the time how good a spinning coaster would look there!

They were only cut down in 2011, and the current management were in charge then!

Meaning the deal fell through? Not on our part - The owners of the coaster.
