3rd April 2013

I went up to the Hills today to see what I could see.

Arrived at around 13:10, went into the office and got my wristband, picked up a park map as well, The car park wasn't that full, with only the first 3 or 4 rows full of cars.

Decided to head down towards the dodgems, and on the way I saw Reece and his Friend on the chairlift, Reece had a day off, so spent it at work...

When I got to the dodgems, I saw the queue was full, so turned around and went back towards the top end of the park, I then went on Kite Flyer, because of the fact there were little ones on the ride, it went very slow.

Next, I headed to Enigma, and found a small queue, so waited one turn and got on, Then, I noticed that they needed another person to send it again, so went on again, then I did it one last time before a large group came down and so I went off.

I walked round to Fireball to investigate it's cycles for Coolskin, it was set to reach maximum height before it slowed down again.

I then decided to go on the Minature Railway for a trip round the park and back, upon arrival I noticed that the Sean Alexander show was on, and so I went down to the bottom end of the park.

I went on the dodgems, these were faster than my last visit on opening day, I did them again before heading to Snake in the Grass, and had a go on this, annoyingly enough, the ride op was stopping the ride after every lap of the track instead of just letting it go twice before taking people off.

I then went back to the dodgems, and found someone had been sick in the queue, this had been poorly cleaned by the cleaner who apparently took one look at it, put down some paper towels and walked off, once the ride in progess had finished, the ride-op bravely cleaned it up, while woody bear entertained everyone and gave out High-fives.

I finally got on the dodgems and had a good go, then I walked back up to the other end of the park and went on Enigma again, when I came off, I saw a big queue and walked off, I was crossing the entrance plaza, when I saw Reece and his friend again, this time I decided to go with them, and I went with them to watch them on wizzy dizzy, as we walked past TOTC, I noticed that the building fronts there were receiving attention.

Once they had been on Fireball, we went and joined the queue for Enigma, and when we were on the ride, we noticed wipeout had gotten stuck with problems with the catch car.

They then said about going on Wipeout, so I said about TTT, when reece told me that it was broken, and had been for a few days. In the end, we ended up on SITG, before heading backtowards Fireball, as we were passing, we decided to go on the Pleasurewood Ponies, these still haven't had much themeing put in for them, we then continued to fireball.

While they went on fireball, I decided to try and get on the last ride of the day on enigma, but just as I got there, I saw it leaving the station, so I went back to Fireball, before left the park, I went into the office, and then went home.

No, I just had a lot of problems in finding the entrance to the ride, everywhere I looked, I just couldn't find the entrance.

Good to hear Jo, My one problem is not having any spare cash until next month due to me saving for my trip towards the end this month means I can't afford a bus fare and as such have to walk the mile to and from PWH.

Good report, Sounds like the park has started to up it's game!
Can I just ask what's the likelihood of Wipeout being open tomorrow? I get the feeling it's not been open recently...

Whilst it does sound like it has been suffering recently, I think it has still been opening everyday. You'll just have to keep your eye out when you're on the park!

And welcome to the forum!

Yes, it was operating today, only the one minor problem when I was there.
