Didn't they have a death on that a while back? Light'water Valley seem to be on the up of recent years. Maybe they are going to replace it with a higher quality attraction.

So Angry Birds playground for LWV this year.

And a ma-hoo-sive on the gate price increase too:

Over 1.3m in height

£28.00

Under 1.3m in height

£23.00

Under 1.0m in height

£5.00

I know a lot of people will pre-book and have vouchers, but these prices are on a par with Flamingoland, which despite getting many negitive comments does offer so much more, including three new rides this year. As for charging under 1m guests, well I hope PWH doesn't follow this. I really can't see how LWV is worth an extra Tenner on PWH's entry fee.

Completely agree there.

PWH and Pleasure Island are both better days out then LWV, and both cost £18.50.

What were the prices last season? It's good to see the effort LWV has put in of recent and it's great that they have got a very strong IP on board.

As for the Angry Birds IP, although still popular and potentially headline grabbing for the park, I can't help but think its past its peak.

£1m seems a lot for a play area too, which is most probably why they hiked their prices. It's very risky what they're doing, there's now only a £2 difference between Ligh****er Valley and Flamingoland...

I know what you mean about Angry Birds, it still seems immensely popular and I think people are discovering it at different times but for. E it's past it's peak

I see a possible tide traveler replacement...

Does anyone know if it's any better than samurai?

I guess the only problem would be the 'fairground look'. If it's better than my 5 minute cycle i had on samurai earlier in the year I frankly couldn't care less though.

Lightwater Valley

Following yesterdays incident the situation has now changed. I was not aware this ride had a fatality way back...

Terrible stuff, not sure if he'll survive. But what's shocking is 'optional seat belts' if they think the ride needs seat belts then don't make them optional, more so when it comes to very young children.

Very sad news indeed which will have a terrible affect on the park and of course his family. I hope the young lad pulls through.

I’ll be interested to find out what happened. Unfortunately, the last few years have seen way too many incidents across UK parks.
