yeah the white looks a bit harsh... but maybe it's not finished. Great to see the picture... but isn't that where that Woody shop was?????? Don't tell me they pulled down Woody's little hut. :(

Well they may be able to adjust it, but the ride is designed to go at the speed it does, making it quicker will probably cause it to become quite uncomfortable.
Can't confirm, will do tomorrow...walked past today it looks really good. Think you'll like this one from a theming a sense. We have also removed the fence from behind Moby Dick so you a nice unrestricted view from the Big Train :)
Ahh, welcome back Benjamin. I trust you had a good time in Italy, sì?
Think you'll like this one from a theming a sense.
To be honest, that is the only real reason why I like this addition. It's a high quality kids ride. Doesn't really offer anything different, but looks the part.
Agreed, I really love the way this is looking and it's high quality. I hope that all future attractions can be as hood as this and the park will be better for it.
Buy 'n' large it looks good. Nice use of the main street theming too.
Negatives: queue lane entrance/ride sign looks awful. Fences should all be the same colour, preferably brown and that '2 rail' fence just looks so unstable and very random (natural wood, plue blue posts, leading upto the brown fence around the ride....) It's being picky, but that's what we're here for ;)
All that blue fence looks horrendous, it's just too much of one colour, nothing to break it up. Fence should stay a natural colour with only the posts painted, and it's softer on the eye. (like the bit around the ride itself)
Also the two rail fence is what should be used for a queue line if you want it fully painted, using a picket fences in a small aria is a real eye sore when the colours are so strong.
Nothing wrong with the entrance signs.

Many years of experience ;) Nothing wrong with the build, I'm talking about the very strong baby blue, there's so much of it in such a small space. Just my opinion, i'll see it in the flesh sometime this year I hope.

I think the photos are looking great. I particularly like the use of the maritime bits and pieces and the way it's been set within that grassy hill.
If you think back to the way things like the Super-Trooper and Waltzers were "plonked" into position and left to rot, it's a totally different ball-game today!
Looks pretty nice :) The colours look a bit much in a photo but it probably doesn't do it justice. I love how it's been placed within a mound of grass and how there is nice bits of theme dotted around too. It's a really really great little addition!
Hate the queueline sign though - still looks very Yarmouth Pleasure Beach... Ben, what's the liklihood of the park getting uniform ride signs to fit with your new brand for next season? It's just my own personal bugbear that the rides now look *so* good but the queue sign just looks tack... :/
It's something on my radar for 2014. I also want to lose the generic green signs introduced a few years ago too. Themeing the signs (Like Timber Falls) is the way it should be IMO. :)
Glad to hear it... The green signs may be bland but at least they were uniform across the park and looked professional too (plus they kept in with the logo and brand perfectly)... Currently, stuff for Jolly, Lighthouse, Moby, Teacups, Laser Labyrinth all look a bit fairground-y - but I'm sure you know exactly what I mean anyway :)
One other thing as I was typing this post out... suddenly realising just how much has been added in two seasons :P
I agree with your comments on the signs. Ever since I saw them for LL, JR etc I thought they looked awful. Moby Dick however looks slightly better but still not where it needs to be.
I think the rides need a big header sign, like the hanging one on Enigma and then a uniform information sign - and that should be in this new purple magical style that Ben has been using of recent.
