RE: New for 2013: Pleasurewood Paddlers

Might be old but a bit of fiberglass here and there, new paint job.. look good as new.

Seems a bit of a set back.. all the marketing for re-living a 'childhood favourite' and not being ready for the birthday bash.

Sounds like they didn't realise the extend of the damage the lake has caused, gonna be a mighty task getting that back to normal.
At least they can work on it during opening days, so might get done sooner or later.

yes its a big shame this is not done as many will walk past the lake to the "dead" area and think god this all looks empty/bad atmospehere etc

Maybe it's time to drain the lake and do something else with it???? ( not, fishing and someone mentioned before)

is the lake something that needs to be weeded on an annual/monthly basis?

Work on the queue line has now started with a few of the boats now on the lake. They'll look really good when this opens soon :)

Apologies from the team here guys. This is looking like next weekend now - Although very much complete, we need to sort things from a operational perspective.

Loving this advance warning on Facebook:

If only the larger parks would follow suit and let people know when things were closed ;)

Yeah its good, though it seems a bit strange for scheduled maintenance to take place in August...
