A bustling new community about Alton Towers and the wider world of theme parks. It was set up on Monday night following the split of the entire TTF team from TowersTimes.
Not much in the way of a site there yet but the forum is busy! Just thought people might wanna take a look... Particularly if you knew of TowersTimes but didn't know of the recent split!
Already there mate, as you probably know. I've been quiet on TTF over the last few months but plan on being A bit more active on TST. I like the new name and look forward to what the future holds. Shame about TTF, hopefully the current team can keep that going strongly. Be a shame to see it go completely.
An incident from the site owner was 'the straw that broke the camel's back' and the entire team decided to resign and set up their own site - hence why TS was born late on Monday night! Basically, the team had been running applications to join the team and while they were deciding who should 'win', the site owner made someone 'News Editor' without any of the team knowing and when none of them were online, thus making the whole process null and void.
Supposedly not the first time the owner of the site had done something without telling the team, so they all decided to start afresh - and around 90% of the members have followed. TT still exists though :)
