Vintage Cars - Dark ride?

Well with the Alladins Cave needing a major sort out, why not make one huge indoor area? Could even have the railway still going through as it is.

Currently, the Vintage Cars has to be one of the most randomly themed rides, in the world. There's blue woodchip to represent the sea and yellow woodchip to represent the beach. So you drive around in a vintage car, at the beach, with a giant squid stuck to the bonnet.....biggrin

Anyway, I think this should be made into another quirky dark ride. It wouldn't take too much investment ot stick a building around it, and maybe theme it as a Haunted House stlye attraction? They could theme the exterior to resemble a ship, so there's like a Ghost Ship style theme going on!

The UK badly lacks decent dark rides, so to do this, and sort out the other two, Pleasurewood could become a little hub for dark ride lovers.

Yes, that could be quite an effective little ride if it was done well. A haunted ghost ship... Could be a great theme!

Nah, I think both rides are already a decent lenght. No need to go to that kind of effort really.

The vintage cars have been repaired and look a bit like funeral cars.... Would work with a ghost ride!!

Just what you wanna do on a day of escapism; ride in a funeral car!

I think the arrival of the Pony Trek should make the park think more about doing something like this with the VC.

They're too similar really, and opposite each other!

Very true, on the subject of the The Ponies.  Have a look at George's Dinosaur Adventure at Paulton's Park; the use of grass mounds separting the track and the theming make the ride look really good.  As they stand I think the Poinies look quite untidy and lazily themed.
