The Magic Mouse has had its day. They actually timed everything with the Mouse perfectly, it was brought to the park in 2000, not long after the first couple arrived in the UK (WMSP & South pier - 1998). The year 2000 saw the boom of them coasters, with Fantasy Island and Brighton Pier joining PWH in opening one. But come the mid 2000's, they were everywhere, so I think they made the ride decision in removing it when they did.
Right now in the UK, there is one at; Fantasy Island, Ligh****er Valley, New Pleasureland, Brean Leisure Park, Brighton Pier, West Midlands Safari Park, Blackpool South Pier and about 3 that travel the fair circuit.

Out of the options you've given, Gerst Launch coaster with out a doubt. Though not far behind would be the Zacspin, bringing one of them to the UK first could be good for PWH.
Doesn't seem much louder than anything else the park has. I like the look of the Zacspin; looks great, looks thrilling and best of all has a nice small foot print which is ideal for PWH. Put it near Timber Falls and call is The Saw Mill.
The length of the ride is a major issue with these, which is why i've gone with the Big Fun woodie - it looks like a true 'family' thrill coaster. The only possible negaitve with the Big Fun is how the 'general public' would compare it with the Rollercoaster at GYPB.
I've got to be honest though, i can't see another coaster appearing at PWH for years.... although i'd love to be proved wrong!
I think we're all being selfish with our selections here. I genuinely think the park needs something for the little ones. Obviously we have SITG, but thats not really a kiddie coaster, and I actually think its quite intimidating for children with how much it roars!
I think the park could do with something like these:
Preferably the latter, as they look good when themed well.
Yeah, you're right a well themed kiddie coaster would be nice. The one at Thomas Land is a nice example. Goodness there is so much the park needs! As for a return of the Magic mouse, I never rode it but my opinion is that for me it doesn't have the right look for a theme park, too temporary looking. Permanent is my thing. :)
ooooh didnt know what the intamin was untill i saw the vid, something different is what the park needs i think :) and hell that ticks that box :) and yea small footprint is a big help
Obviously not getting a new coaster this year. But I'd say no to the Intamin 'Zacspin', purely because it's the ugliest thing I think I've ever seen... Zamperla 'Volare' looks pretty cool, but I think Kite Flyer would have to go (also made by Zamperla, no?) as they're both sort of flying rides and it looks like the coaster would take up a bit of space!
I so hope Volare is as comfortable as Kite Flyer! *Sarcasm in case you were wondering!
I think the park needs a decent kiddy coaster like the one at Thomas Land but also a compact thrill coaster. Possibly something unique like the Zacspin or that half pipe skate board disco type coaster.
Each to their own Martyn, but I personally think the 'Zacspin' is hideous. Though I guess it could fit in well (as someone else said) near 'Timber Falls' and with a linked theme!
