Pirate ship + Rattlesnake future

been thinking what would happen if one of these bust for good ? i know rides should last long yet these two are very old now.

I hope they remain for some years as yet - however how easy would parts be and what would their replacements be ? do we think the park have any contigency plans for this type of thing ?

In my opinion the pirate ship should be replaced with an inverting model and rattlesnake should be replaced with a new family coaster. SITG is just so tired, looking at it in its sorry state does it no justice for the great times many people like myself have had on it!

Trust me, when a nuclear holocaust destroys everything, there will only be 3 things left on earth, bacteria, Pirate ships, and Tivoli coasters.

They will never be beyond repair.

Lol !!!

If the ship did go or had reached the end of its life then I think the main support beams should be kept and a inverted ship placed in the middle !!!!

Kind of like Alton keeping the corkscrew loops ( ish )

That wouldn't really work coolskin... As inverter ships don't use the same structure. Besides, pirate ships have endless supplies available!

yes, plus if you get an inverting one it then defeats the aim of a family ride...
