Noise Barriers

Somewhere on here I mentioned about the SITG clone and the Boomerang at Bellewaerde being right next to each, RIGHT behind peoples houses.

Well, now they're having to install a noise barrier wall behind the park (even though the two coasters have been there since 1984!)

Wouldn't be a bad idea for PWH to do something like this in the woods. Tivoli Friheden in Denmark also have a similar problem, and they literally just boxed in their coasters with glass walls. Dont want to see this at PWH obviously, but erecting a glass wall like this in the woods would be a wise move from the park.

It would be a wise move if any investment needed it... but unless we get another coaster I doubt noise will become any more of an issue.

Besides, there is the money cost - unless they get told to put one up it would seem like a waste of cash that could be spent elsewhere on park.

I'd see it as a way to keep the locals happy. Just like re-routing the Miniature Railway, they didn't need to do it ,but they did (most probably to help with planning permission that was soon to be made public ;)
