Wipeout Construction

Soon, I'm going to upload all of my Wipeout construction pics in this thread. I've been meaning to do it for a while now, but keep forgetting, so hopefully starting the thread will act as a reminder! biggrin

Obviously, Matt, you are more than welcome to use them for the main site, if you like.

It would be great to add these to the site, thanks! If you have any problems with uploading the photos onto the board, you can email them to unofficialpleasurewood@hotmail.co.uk

First installment, from the 1st April 2006, not long after the then "Missile" arrived at Pleasurewood (including shots of its original train, which never made it onto Wipeout):

9th June 2007. Construction seemed to have slowed down a lot by this time. 3 weeks had past since my last visit, and not much had changed at all:

^ The old control booth from the American Adventure.

On this day (9th June), I remember we brought along a picnic, so around lunch time went back to the car to get, and as luck would have it, a lorry pulled, with Dutch writing on it, so we sat near by to see what was being delivered:

^ Lots of shiney new parts sent direct from Vekoma HQ.

Great pics thanks Martyn. The plot of land looks so big without Wipeout on it!

Just had a look at the impressive pictures. Given that such a great deal of work wad spent on installing the ride, its a shame that PWH didnt really do anything with it in terms of theming.....!
