Just been browsing TT and someone has posted this - a link to the new CGI Big Fun Woodie.
"The ride is designed for smaller theme parks and is a pre-designed coaster that is 65ft Tall & can fit on a site the size of two standrad wild mouse coasters. The ride costs just $3m and that price includes everything all the park have do is build a fence around the ride and a queue line."
This is just screaming "buy me, Pleasurewood". lol
How sweet would it look where Tales of the Coast is, and the vacant bit beside it?

Oh right. Glad I rode it before it went then. Odd ride, yet was still a ride... Not sure if they will replace they keep taking away and not replacing there....
This is another reason why its good to be a part of a chain of parks, they could get it even cheaper if say they ordered to of them. One for us, and the other for Bagatelle or the Dutch park.
Considering PWH have got about £1.2m each year for the next 2 years, that £1.8m isn't really out of the question at all.
In an ideal world, next year would be the year to tidy the park up. No 'new' rides as such, just rethemes for TotC and Fairytale Fantasy and refurb/tart up for Jolly. New park entrance with new logo etc.
Then, for 2014, the GCI Big Fun on the site of the Go-Karts or Wavebreaker.
THEN the park would start to see te visitor numbers grow.

This Woodie; if I'm right in thinking, they wouldn't actually require planning permission for it, due to that lawful developement certificate they were granted by the Council. They're allowed to build upto around 80ft without permission, and these bad boys are only around 60ft tall!
well in which case, i think we have something to add for the 30th anniversary year..., plenty of room , and why not dmove fireball down to near sitg or something maybe there or somewhere would be perfect.
Well a $3Million price tag is around £1.8Million or €2.3Million. Its a lot of kit for that kind of money and would really really get the industry, the community and the general public talking.
Some sort of deal where PWH could be a Euro 'show park' for the ride could also knock the price down.
Also i would imagine it would be fairly 'family friendly'. It just seems so right for PWH......
I agree Martyn, I would love to see one of these bad boys at the park. I really want some of the tired rides rethemed. I can see them doing this as what they have done with TT and TF is awesome.
