ok then , i think that if they are going to charge that amount maybe a deal to get pass holders a discount on travel in the local area to encourage people to use public transport instead of cars

So, adult prices for next year is £18..... only a 50p increase (which leads me to think we wont be getting the major ride we were hoping for :( )

Also, no discount for booking online anymore?! Which seems odd....

Takeup has never been too spectacular with the online bookings anyway?  I can't remember people queuing outside the office with online booking when I have booked a ticket that way.

It seems to be if you have families that folk are moaning about.... I have seen two or three people say they wont go as it is too dear to go as a family now

^ Well they're never going to take their family out then, are they? PWH isn't cheap in theme park terms, but its cheap compared to any other kind of day out. Plus there are BOGOF vouchers everywhere.

And dont forget, under 3's are FREE at PWH, but £16 at GYPB!

I went to Ripleys believe it or not yesterday and was £25 for about 1 1/2 hours of fun. compared with the whole day out with around 25 rides for £18, from that Pleasurewood sounds a bargain

To be fair, everything in London is pretty expensive (but yeah, I couldn't believe how much it was to get in there, the one in Yarmouth was like £8!)

Ok, she has clearly seen what I wrote about GYPB, and for some reason decided to think I was on about PWH... again, idiot.

Loads of people i talk to mention the entry price at PWH, saying how 'much' it is. After grabbing them by the throat and shaking them while stating how it compares to other theme parks and local days out, they see sense!

I agree with you Andy, I saw the comments on Facebook regarding price and it was good to see you defending the price. To also put it in perspective it now costs £9 to see a film at the cinema...that is crazy!

http://tpark.co.uk/prices.php - How people complain about Pleasurewoods prices is ridiculous. Camelot, Paultons and GY Pleasure Beach are all more expensive and all the parks that are cheaper are dedicated (or pretty much) children's parks.

Just realised that if the park has a firework finale this year on nov 4th the last day of the season then it will be darker up there earlier than recent years as the clocks go back a whole week before the last day of season....

I completely forgot about the online discount.... or lack of?

You can really see why some people are complaining really, hardly any vouchers, and NO online discount at all?!

When you see the big guys and even GYPB offering online savings it is madness we have nothing.. people look to the internet for it to be cheaper

3 for 2 vouchers found today in Beccles Tesco on their smaller 'Best Days Out' leaflet/tourist stand.

C'mon PWH get that Tide traveller running so i can use them.... would have been at least twice by now if everything was running!

All rides are working now apart from TT. The inspector has done his stuff on it so we're just going through the things that need doing before we can open it. Shouldn't be too long now.
