Again, is it really worth it? Who actually cares if its real or not?

I've seen plenty of s*** from fanboys over the years, its quite unreal to see the lenghts some people will go, just for the sake of it.... :|

Went to Fantasy Island today, and they appear to be promoting a new attraction for 2012:

These posters were everywhere all over the park.

Oh, and they've also had planning permission approved for a new Splash Zone attraction.

An all year round scare maze perhaps?

^ Doubt that to be honest. They had a weird scare attraction that was £2 to have a go, very unpopular and left after a few weeks.

I'd say it would probably be some kind of Ghost train. Though naturally you would think of horror maze because of Thorpe, but here, I just doubt it.

Regardless of what the hell it is...it looks awesome!

I wish Thorpe Park would invest in it's entrance soon. I haven't been this year so not sure if they've done anything about it but it is/was awful. The temporary galvanised steel fencing is horrible and the ticket booths are too slow. The car park and this need sorting. I think it is on their 10 year plan but needs to be done sooner rather than later.

The Asylum at Fantasy Island is to be a revamp of the Toucan Tours dark ride.

It has also been revealed recently that Alton Towers are also getting a 4D cinema attraction which will show an Ice Age short film aparantly based on the second movie. Sounds great :)

Paultons park are currently running some promotion for a new ride next year, called Magma. No word yet on what it is though.

Possible ABC drop tower like extremis...

Two are headed out to new dungeons in Germany, which leaves two ABC towers. One will presumably be the concept ride at Alton which could leave one for Paulton's?

The Swarm looks absolutely brilliant! That theming looks like it is going to be top drawer!

Paulton's already have 2 small/medium sized drop towers. Why would they purchase a third?

Details on this are currently very vague. It could be anything.

The only thing that's been confirmed is it will have a volcano/dinosaur theme and will be next to the "Cobra" on the old events area.

^ Welcome to UP ThrilljunkieUK!

I presume its you from UKRides?

I agree that I dont think the new ride at Paultons will be a drop tower as such, but you cant rule out the possibility of it being the Space Shot from Loundoun Castle.
