Very intrigued by this. 13 minute experience - Derren Brown is a mark of quality (I hope). A ghost train with CGI and a magician at the helm? Hobs Pit did it first!
Sounds good. Hopefully Thorpe don't find a way to ruin it in some way like having crappy operations or closing it without telling people who have drive miles all the way to the other side of London from Suffolk to get to the park (cough, cough, vortex, samurai and I'm a celebrity)......
Arrived at 10:25 to a 40 minute queue to get admission tickets, you now have to line up at a portable building way over to the right of the main gates near the bus park, only half the desks were open and this system was very poor.
On park we headed to swarm, it had the shortest queue all day not going above 15 minutes so got 3 rides on it, last 2 were walk on...
Got a front row seat on stealth next which was awesome as ever, followed up with colossus which is getting a little too rough now to be enjoyable... slammer still sits fully built randomly, no change to loggers leap either.
Next onto samurai, after removal of my favourite top scan; the beast at fantasy island I thought I'd take my first ever ride on samurai.... what a disappointment... it was so slow and just awful, clonking and play in the seat restraints too which I've not ever noticed on beast, saw next after half hour of downtime and a mammoth queue, riders are now let up the stairs in batches.... same on nemesis, it seems they are trying to avoid people actually waiting on stairs in queues which is odd.... anyway... rough and not fun I'm afraid .. next onto ...... my first enterprise.... lovely smell of old grease and fairly smooth....
Needed a sit down next I'm getting too old for this 🤣 then had a couple of walk on goes on the Rapids to relax, then walking dead opened at 1pm, no live actors present , and umm... pretty lack luster and pitch black corridors on exit were stupid.
Ghost train was still plagued by faulty headsets, and the middle scene with the subway train that comes out of the tunnel now removed and it's just a pointless walk through section around some fence and back onto the trains. Waited 35 minutes to get on it too.
Best rides of the day nemesis inferno and swarm both for smoothness. Hadn't noticed the steam effects on nemesis tunnel or volcanoes in the queue line either those were nice touches.
Oh and magic carpet was being worked on, the gaming tent was dead, and bounce zilla looks terrible just all plonked on tarmac.

At least it seems you had a good day compared to my last visit in March which I had forgotten to post; Most of the flat rides were closed, Rush had an even more pathetic cycle then usual, inferno didn't open until 12, DBGT closed all day and despite repeatedly testing with water dummies and then people, presumably the ride engineers, in the morning, they didn't bother opening colossus for the whole day. The main consolation was stealth which had no queue all day despite the other closures, probably because it was dead due to the weather forecast (which over exaggerated TBH). It easily has to be my 2nd favourite roller coaster in the UK other than Alton's nemesis (haven't been to BPB since before Icon so don't know if that would change anything).
