So what is the next step? Let try and keep this in reality but what is the ideal next new addition to PWH. This is after the proposed new rides. I know its jumping the gun but it is interesting to speculate!
I think the park should make use of the residential area towards the bottom of the park by installing quieter attractions, and a Farmyard in that far corner would be ideal.
Also, a Star Flyer on the old Cine180 site would be perfect, as well a proper re-theme for Tales of the coast and Fairytale Fantasy.
I forsee a spinning rollercoater on the Fireball site........?!
I'd like to see some half decent 'filler' rides. A full size waveswinger, an enterprise etc on the thinking they would be pretty avaliable second hand as we have disscussed before.
Rides such as the Sky Hooks should be long gone!
An indoor coaster would be cool too..... The theming on the Lazer game would make for a brilliant queue lane on a space 'black hole' type coaster.
I reckon we will be seeing the site behind Fireball utilised in the next few years.
I would like to see a refurb of TOTC and Fairy Tale as they are really tired now, especially FFR - I would like to see maybe a haunted house style attraction and new cars that actually fit adults in them.
I'm not too fussed with the shows, though I imagine they're good to have as they enhance the day out. The Sealion show is amazing and should stay forevery, but the Parrot show is a bit mediocre, and feels temporary really, with it being chucked in the old fun house building.
If they maybe painted the building a nicer colour and put a better sign up, or maybe even rethemed the building from the faux-American style of the original park, then it might look better.
The shows all need to be there though, without them peoples days would be too empty... Look how many people comment on the shows on things like Facebook, Trip Advisor or the UKPN review - it shows how important they are.
TotC is a very poor attraction. The technology used throughout seems very old hat. The characters barely move (Black Shuck didn't move or light up at all last time I went), the soundtrack is far too quiet that you miss what's being said unless you really concentrate hard and the staff on my last two visits allowed boats to go round with only two people in them meaning massive (albeit not quite Enigma sized) queues! The doors into and out of the covered section were also wedged open last time I visited, which also took something away from the experience.
The staffing issues on that ride are awful. I too have experienced long queues due to inadequate loading. It needs to be sorted. It has some nice theming but the whole ride needs redoing. If the entire ride was covered it could be made into a pretty decent and long dark ride.

And them doors still have the the dodgy theming from when it was the Fantasy Boat ride... the whole ride, in every possible way, is awful. I think they need to either take the whole tunnel down, and have it as an open boat ride, like it was originally, or extended the tunnel and make it a proper dark ride.
I agree the Cartoons are rather dark and shabby i seem to remember! It was best when it was around the world in 80 days! I can vaguely remember it - i must have been about 7 years old!
