Now waiting for fireball in the dusk.... Enigma shut at 4pm so we could not ride, log flume just shut, wipeout not as well lit as last year...... The park is very busy..... People starting to wait in the unlit main square

Fireball have turned half the lights off and the seats were not even lit this year again.... Waiting in a busy main square and stitch is around..... It is 5pm

Not major amounts of light in main square. The sound system wasnt loud enough to hear and half of the house was in darkness. Fireball decided to light up again in full except the seats. 3people must b staff were watching the laser and firework show from the wipeout steps..... Laser was all green, fireworks were very good. Very busy and very mental driving out.... More will follow in my trip report which I hope to do tonight or tomorrow lunch.

My friend stuck in the q trying to get out, she said people are hooting the horns and it is chaos to get out there was no lighting at the exit that i saw. Some staff were trying to keep order.......

LOL it was bad enough last year, but with those crowds this year i bet its every man for himself! Hope it doesn't spoil what has been a good day for people. Thanks for the updates coolskin, it was (almost) like being there.... looking forward to your report and pix.

Last live update..... She has finally got out of the park, some 20mins of waiting.....people were tooting and going mad she said..... Me and my other half parked at the bottom she parked at the top near wipeout. Lol.

That is the last update on the move, I am back home now and am looking forward to doing the trip report and pictures over the next 24hours.....Just you wait until you see the Thunderstruck photos I got......

Thanks for the updates coolskin. Why were the rides closing so early (Enigma, Timber Falls...)?

Did you spot where the arms for Thunderstruck were taken too?

yeah thanks coolskin, hope you had fun, shame about the rides closing so early i suppose it was to do with not being able to operate them after dusk or something? 500th post in this topic

I guess its the ever faithful health and safety........ Yet Alton and Thorpe manage it yet then they have proper lighting I suppose etc
