Well biked down from Yarmouth and saw the trucks enter from the Tesco garage, great site as ever yet there was around 20 less trucks this year.....
Park was busy and the kids had their fast track passes on and they were all wristbanded up...
And so to the park..... Well Thunderstruck was not working and there was only one lane on TidalWave working too... All other rides were open. The water rollers are up by the toilets near the ice cream hut opp FireBall.
Sadly no posters or anything on the first of our new "megarides"...
The more I went round the park the more I thought that the above ride issues may have been down to staff shortages ? Thunderstruck was moving itself in the fairly strong wind that was blowing in.
Enigma, well only one train running and a fairly hefty queue yet it did go down quick to be honest. Most people seemed unaware that we once had up to 4 trains running round here. Some major ( in my view ) track movement especially on the last two parts of the course...Was a good ride though. It needs a good paint up and some weed killer....We got stuck on the last bit just seconds from the release station and maintenance were called to push us along.... lol.... they looked quite peed off.....
First time on WildWaterFalls for a couple of seasons, still a good ride and the theming is very good.
Fireball... hmmm now I miss the trees that they have chopped down.. WHY ? once I was strapped in and the floor gave way I had a good view of the original FireBall signage just laying on the ground with more lighting. The ride programme is still bizzare... one half spin up and then it slows right down and then only ONE full swing at full height, why so little ? Arguably one of the best rides in the park yet it now has three metal fences around it at the waterlog end ?
Could not help but feel that the AnnieOakleyRailway needs a second train back the park was busy and often there was a queue and not all could get on.
The Helter Skelter needs a damm good scrub.....
Wipeout... we got as far as back as we could as the last 6 seats had teddy bears in and this we were told was due to the train not being the original one and as always down to weight distribution... yet how can the bears add anything to the weight ? The reason the bars do not automatically release we were told was also down to it not being the original train....
Was sad to see the mini railway cut off on its "new" route and we could see workmen doing the laser attraction.
Overall we had a good few hours, the food we had in SmokeyJoes was really good and so was the salad bowl. Was great to see the sealions again there are just a few things that need sorting...
Move that awful Thunderstruck over to where the Spacenet use to be years ago or either next to the Tidalwave before you get to the train crossing or where HungryBears use to be these awful empty spaces are just silly and they look painful....
I hope someone will make sure the reeds dont go much further over the lake as they are taking over, the area behind Wipeout that you view as you go on the train is overgrown and very weedy, how quick is it to just run a strimmer over this area ?
Next report from me will be the final day for fireworks and Halloween which I see is now on their website.
This really shouldn't be happening, especially in the summer holidays. They shouldn't be sacrificing customer satisfaction to save a few £££.

Thats been said before, its obviously what the staff are told to say. This is another bad example of sacrificing customer satisfaction.
Oh, Smokey Joes and Wild Water Falls... when did you say you last visited?lol
^ I think its more staffing issues to be honest. They should really think of just spending a little cash on getting an electrician up there to merge both of the release buttons, so only one ride op is then required for both slides.

So nothing to do with there being no surface matting at all at the bottom of the second flume?
^ Its like that at LWV too, but thats because the belt that brings the boats to the top is to the side of the 2 slides, where as at PWH, its in between them.
So the 2012 convoy.... 82 trucks passed us at Tesco roundabout, sadly there was very few people there and the atmosphere was awful as out of the 82 trucks I dont think there was anymore than 10 trucks that blew their horns. Such a shame.
That's surely down to nobody turning out rather than the actual drivers... When They went past work here they were all beeping and honking! The same was reported by the Evening News when they went through Yarmouth.
