To be fair, the 2 times I went on it in June, the queue was by the bottom of the second set of steps down, yet we only queued for about 10 mins. But it does look rubbish with only lane open, and only one train on Enigma, and half of Wipeout's seats blocked off... ;)
I just hope when it is relocated they make it look like a permanent attraction. As it was it did look very temporary and with the old theme, very tired also. This should be an awesome facelift!
What it wants is earth mounded around the sides to hide the sides of the base, the pods and arm to be repainted, the control booth to be themed and a queuelane of the standard at the labyrinth to be put in and the ride will look pretty permanent.
Looking even better! Though I'm struggling to think of what it will look like with 20 of these altogether on the ride.... still, looks great, and I'd now put money on it having a new name for next year, BUT I just hope they dont class this as one of the 5 new rides...
Very interesting. Lots of new stuff going on around the park its all becoming abit muddled. Can someone compile a list of the rumours/definites of whats to com ein 2012? :)
I can't tell from the picture there, is it being dismantled?
yeh will put them up tonight.... The ride smelt of oil when I got up close and personal with it....as to if it is being dismantled, well I would not like to say....The source of the chairlift quote to me also said about the floor of thunderstruck that HAD to be done......
That is why it was removed from service before season end, and I trust this to be the truth.... Lets wait until my photos go up tonight.....
