RE: Another Major New Ride Confirmed!

No I never unfortunately, BUT I do need to go to a German fair as they have loads of Schwartzkopf coasters! I even looked a flights to Munich the other day to go Oktoberfest JUST for Olympia Looping! I think Magnum joined the fair circuit in Europe, but The Bullet has disappeared, what a waste of an awsome, yet small coaster.

*Think we need a Schwartzkopf topic!lol*

Now, for arguments sake, lets say the Drop tower is the one from Denmark, so chances are the other 'mega' ride could come from there too. Here's a vid which shows the parks rides, which would you like to see?

Unfortunately, I got this horrible feeling in my stomach when I saw that 'Move It' style ride on 45 seconds....

I'm not a big fan of spinning rides which spin you on two different pivots, so those are out the window. I see what you mean about the "Move It" style ride, looks dull to me but I have never ridden one so I can't really comment. What did catch my eye though was that blue and yellow Pinfari coaster. Aesthetically looks like a really messy coaster with the millions of supports but looks like it could be fun.

Yeah, normally you would avoid Pinfari at every cost, and I'm still iffy about it, but I guess it could be fun.... and painful.

My gut feeling I got was actually about PWH getting that ride, not me feeling sick watching it!lol

Would be horrible if they got that, same with the Pinfari, both travelling rides which would be taking us back to the stage that I had hoped we'd past.

Yes but surely you cover up the fact that its a traveller with decent theming! I say go for it!

Hmm, yeah, I suppose the Pinfari would be ok if it was say, enclosed? Not just pitch black, as thats too easy, I like the space themed coasters.

So yeah, get the Pinfari PWH!

A fully enclosed coaster would be awesome. In fact just copy The Black Hole and I'll be happy!

I dont think the Pinfari would offer the same experience as The Black Hole did, thats why I'd say it would need to be themed, but still, IF they do get a coaster like that, definitely has to be enclosed!

Yeah, I know. I meant they should just buy a Jetstar 2 and copy it. But yeah if they got something like the Pinfari it's ugliness would have to be enclosed.

So, after being almost blown away by that Pinfari on Clacton Pier, I'd be happy with one of them, in the dark though, obviously XD

So what would the general feeling be if this was to be the other new mega ride:

Not good enough for LWV, not good enough for PWH! Seriously, one of these enclosed and well themed would be quite decent, i think, but maybe not what the park needs having already got Wipeout a far better ride. Also, it would be another short coaster. To conclude: Meh.

I think an major flat ride is likely.

It was never 'not good enough' for LWV, they just had a cheaper/better option with all the acient flats from Loudoun Castle.

It is a bit short, but I think it would be fun and two inverting coaster would look good for the parks profile. Though I think the age would put me off a bit.

I dunno....I'm 50/50 over it really. I mean, we haven't had much recently, and beggers cant be choosers an all.... XD

Are you just putting out ideas here Martyn or do you know something? It doesn't look like a very good coaster but tbh it would probably fit well at PWH. I don't expect it to be a coaster though.

Lol what would I know? The forum has gone a bit quiet of late so I'm just trying to wake us all up!

And besides, we know nowt about this new ride, so we can speculate to our hearts content!

I agree with the flat ride idea, something like Ripsaw at Alton Towers would be a good addition!

I think its a shame that PWH has never invested some thought towards a Woodie. It would fit in the setting brilliantly. I suppose the issue would be cost and noise! I mean i know its not a thrill ride but gullivers have got one and they are a childrens park really. PWH is more family thrills than gullivers!

To be honest though, that Woodie at Gullivers is average at best. The Pinfari on Clacton Pier would be better than that Woodie!

A woody would make PWH like the coaster-nerds wet dream though... though it would just be compared to The Ultimate every 5 seconds.

^ No they dont, they could have though if they used some of the land that is currently occupied by the Golf Course ;)
