New for Whitsun Week (28th May - 5th June) BMX, Trampoline and Street Arts show that will be performing every day (weather permitting as they're outside!)
The BMX show will be on the Railway Platform outside the Eatern Rocket.
The Street Dancers will be performing in the Main Square
and, The Trampoline show will be performed opposite Wipeout.
Also, some watery fun with the new Water Zorbing pool, which will also be opposite Wipeout! (The water zorbs will be a pay to play attraction)
So come down to Pleasurewood Hills for Whitsun for some new entertainment and, of course, some thrills!
I guess the Water Zorb things are them water walkers that you now see EVERYWHERE. At least they are just a pay-to-play attraction, unlike the one at Pleasure Island which is plugged as their new ride for 2011!
The shows sound fun, though I thought that BMX show was on all year with it being on the park map?
Oh well, at least its something. Though I feel a Drop Tower, Spinning coaster and Rapids would have been a LOT better for attracting people... (or at least a trial of one of them rides for the week only, to see guest feedback etc)

hi all, this just in a mate of mine is doin a buisness degree thing at school, as such there goin on an "educational visit" to pwh one of his teachers went there a coupple of weeks ago and found this out : they are planning on removing fireball and putting a new rollercoaster and a droptower in before june
^ I would normally agree, but they did say that they're going to be turfing it. Surely if it was for a new ride so soon, they would be mentioning it on Facebook?
ok i visited yesterday, and the mound has a flattened part down towards the enigma que sort of half way along, looks like they might move the que away from the border fence tbh, looked a dam mess yesterday though
I would imagine it does look a mess! Ground work like that should really be left to the winter season, not as a quick mid week jobby.
Also, I cant really seem the moving the queue, although to be honest I cant really picture what you're describing, however, at least it seems there some purpose for this 'developement'.
Or, like I said before, that will be the new pathway down to Enigma's queue, as a MASSIVE new ride will be taking up a lot space from Thunderstruck to the Sea Lion show. Backed up by the new entrance to the Sea Lion show....
I so badly hope that something big is planned for this part of the park...
relocating the Enigma queue to the new cleared land is a good idea, and then moving Thunderstruck to, say, the SNIG end of the park to leave room for a new ride would seem perfect.
Directly behind the adventure playground? A drop tower? Family coaster?
Maybe we're getting excited over nothing though...
Maybe, but at least its given us something to talk about!
IF there is a new ride on the way, I dont think it would be a coaster, not in that spot anyway. Too many rides up there as it is, a coaster would make it feel even more crammed. A tower and flat would fit perfectly though!
All this is made even more interesting if you look at that PDF link in the planning topic, and you see that they actually own some of that golf course. So that, plus this clearance, and the relocating of the Sea Lion show entrance must all be leading up to something, surely?

I asked on FB and Twitter last night and got the following responses:
"Hi Scott, Just replied to your message on Twitter. They are just cosmetic I'm afraid, I'm going to go out in a little while to take some more pictures as I think some more work has been done. Will put them up soon!"
"Just cosmetic I'm afraid. We wanted to put the bit of land between Enigma and TS to btter use and the new viewing area does that."
Heres a way to put land at a theme park to better use:
B U I L D S O M E R I D E S.
Unless the trees were full of disease (didn't look it) this still makes very little sense to me. Waste of time and money.... I really hope there is some bluffing going on!

Doesn't sound too promising to be honest. Oh well... at least the general look and up keep of the park is a priority even though there are no new rides. :(
glad there possibly getting some new stuff sorted, went to fantasy island at the weekend and it was heaving! so clearly pleasurewood need to pull there finger out
