RE: THE SWARM - Thorpe Park's new ride for 2012

Rode it front row twice, back and middle. The twist at the top is amazing, was a bit faster than expected. Great themeing.

Still haven't been. In fact haven't been to a theme park since October 2010. Just no time or money since my little girl was born. Already planning a trip to Thorpe this year though, I have to ride The Swarm!!

We now have confirmation that Swarm will have 2 rows facing backwards as of 2013: http://www.thorpepark.com/rides/the-swarm.aspx

I dont know how I feel about this tbh...

I think that's a great idea. I think that'll be a unique ride experience.

Yeah, no doubt the ride experience will be good, but I just dont understand why. The coaster is only 1 year old, so why would they want to make such a major modification so soon?

And then that leads me to B&M, the biggest 'play it safe' manufacturer in the industry. Why would they want to do this to an already popular ride type?

Swarm is a good solid coaster, I hope they dont ruin it.
