Posting links on the forum

How come not all links work? (as in you cant click on some, but some you can)

And is there a way to have all links open in a new window? The ones you can click on, all seem to open within this little Unofficialpleasurewood window, and end up being small/stretched.

It depends whether the poster hyperlinks it.

If they don't then it's just text.

What do you mean by 'hyperlink' it?

By using the little chain symbol in the advanced editor.

So there's no way of posting a link properly in the quick reply then?

you can try using [url] tags...

If you put [ url] and then [/ url] (without the spaces) on the start and end of a hyperlink it should work:

BBC

Or simply:

www.bbc.co.uk

The problem with using the url tags is that it seems to point to the address as a page of the forum, bizarre!

http://www.bbc.co.uk

Actually, all you need to do is add http:// at the front.

if you want to open it in a new window you can right click and select new window or new tab.
