There's aren't actually that many travelling rides left at the park nowadays: Fireball, Waveswinger Enigma, Tunderstruck and at a push: Dodgems and Pirate Ship.

And I dont think Thunderstruck actually looks that 'fairground-ish' either.

And that pretty much covers all PWHs rides...

Alright Martyn, you make a good point although I wouldn't class the chairlift or the Annie Oakley Railway as rides but more of park transport.

My point was more that the rides you mentioned are mostly the thrill rides - the ones that are meant to draw people in...

Reece is getting well cheeky not letting us in on any gossip! From Reece on FB:

Helllo PWH! I went to the park today and heard a rumour that fireball is going. I was just wondering is this true and why i love this ride and is awsome and me and my friends always enjoy going on it.

If this is true then it would confirm my original reasoning behind them changing it back to Fireball and putting the original sign back on.  It could also explain why they haven't changed the ride signage confuse

They've added some more clips to their Youtube channel, and this one caught my eye:

CLICK

The new park area actually looks really nice, they haven't just replaced the play area bits, they've actually relandscaped it all, so there's no sign of it being the old golf course.

Anyway, for the interesting stuff, pause it on 13 seconds. Has that cleared area behind Fireball always been that big?????????

They are currently using a blackberry! lol!

Also, I can only hope that if Fireball *is* going, that they are planning on replacing it with a park model rather than nothing - because we could do with this mythical Drop Tower AND Fireball rather than one or t'other.

EDIT: Also, if this drop tower ever happens, where do you think they'll put it?

My 5 ideal places:

^ 4 of them locations are ideal for a nice thrill ride, we think alike mrbirghtside! I've always thought a Topscan would look great in that top corner of the park, where the Spiders web used to be. For me, a tower ride would be best suited to Fireball's current location, and the old Cine180 site, which according to the map, isn't housing anything at the minute. In an ideal world, I love to see a Drop Zone, and a Starflyer.

However that bottom corner will never house a thrill ride as them houses are within a stones throw away. The only thing they could really do with that corner is to relocate Enigma there and enclose it, so no noise is generated from it.

And I really dont think they're getting rid of Fireball. After all, the old signage was put back in place LAST year, yet all this years marketing/leaflets etc have Fireball on, that surely wouldn't be the case if they removing it? And they'd be silly to anyway, its one of, if not the most popular ride at the park.

I can't see them removing the Fireball as it were, but I think they could be looking into relocating it surely?

I'm really praying that this is the year of a drop tower, in Fireballs place, with Fireball moved to the SING area.

Wasn't the SING area supposed to be moved or something?

Oh and i think that clearing has always been that big but it looks like it has been mown, it was long grass before.

I've been searching everywhere to try and find a pic or vid taken from the side, but really cant find much. I did find one picture though, which shows that tacky tall fence that used to surround the ride (kind of made with long twigs):

Thats definitely gone now, so maybe thats why that area behind it looks bigger?

We all kind of knew it wouldn't leave the park, but I really wouldn't be surprised if it got relocated within the park.

And welcome back Datman!

There's a man I've missed, welcome back Datman! That's good news that Fireball isn't being removed as it is one of the better rides at the park.
