RE: New Members, Introduce yourself here!

Hi everyone

I'm Nick (KateS's partner!) smile

I joined because I love connecting with people and talking about theme parks in general. I recently visited Pleasurewood Hills for the fist time EVER thanks to Kate. Great day out.

First an formost I'm a massive lover of British Dark Rides, particularly the ones built in the UK in the 90's at Chessington, Alton Towers and Thorpe Park (namely Professor Burp's Bubbleworks, Terror Tomb, Haunted House, Phantom Fantasia, 5th Dimension)

Really enjoyed Tales of the Coast and Hob's Pit, both very atmospheric! Tho I wish I'd experienced the Aladin Ride of old ;)

Wardley's book was an absolute treat and a wonderful insight into a highly creative mind. Loved the bit about Keith Sparks (R.I.P)

Looking forward to going on Valhalla in August with KateS!!

Thanks for having me by the way :)

Nick

Jokes on them because I'm still here :P

Such an odd comment Bubbles... Particularly when looking back through the posts, I see that our moderators Josh and Martyn both welcomed you!

Of course you're welcome here Bubbles, we're glad to have you! You have a very unique and sometimes exceptionally strong opinion on things. Even when we don't agree with your points, it's fun to try and counter them!

Been a while since anyone has posted on here so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Josh, I live in Colchester but have supported the tractor boys for many years now (Really have had enough of McCarthy and his approach!). I think that with some work, Pleasurewood can be much better (most importantly an Enigma retheme for me!). Going down tomorrow to see what's going on as haven't been in a while.
