Yes, lol, anyone one here not from URC?

It is great to finally ahev a fan site for Pleasurewood.

By the way, I'm Martyn, incase you hadn't guessed. I'm 24 and I live in Norwich. I have been visiting Pleasurewood since I was a wee baby, and I hold the park responsable for making me the adrenaline junkie that I am today, so for that reason, Pleasurewood holds a special place in my heart, and always will do.

:D

I'm Josh, I am from Bury St Edmunds. Used to go all the time when I was a nipper. Visited again last year and rekindled my interest in the park. :)

Welcome to the forum Alex! We've learnt a lot about you there!lol

Sticky's are topics that will stay at the top of the page, regardless of when they were last used. Basically there more important than other topics.

add me and you get a trio of canary fans OTBC also my name is matthew im 15 from lowestoft have been to pleasurewood many times, i am also in to transport etc. so i think it would be rilliant to rebuild the lowestoft to yarmouth line but put a station in at pleasurewood hills ( that way i could get the train up to pleasurewood hills)

I'm Leon (cryptic clue in the name).

I live in the local area and have visited Pleasurewood Hills many times every year since I was about two years old. I love the park to bits. Would love to become involved in the management process of the park one day. When I'm not going to theme parks (Europa Park in Germany is my favourite), I'm a graphic designer during the day. I'm also interested in photography and musical theatre. I'm also an avid fan of the pub.

:)

Hi guys, Josh here. Long time member since the forum started. I come from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk so only about an hour or so away from the Hills. I work as a salesman in an electrical retail outlet. I am so glad I am not a tractor boy as I feel I would be well outnumbered here! I am a big Liverpool fan though (great result today) but football's for another day. ;)

I've been visiting the Hills since I was a kid back in the eighties when the park was young and it was pay per car to gain entry. I lost interest in theme parks from the late nineties until about 2006 when I visited Alton Towers for the first time since 02 and became a big fan from then. I am a member of Towers Times forum also.

When I learned of PWH installing Wipeout in 2007 I thought I must give it a go so I visited the park for the first time in years in 2008. The place was a massive improvement on my last underwhelming visit in about 2000. I have been following developments on here since then and take a real big interest in the park. I am looking forward to the future.

My partner gave birth to our daughter on 19 December 2010 so now I will be able to take my little girl to enjoy the park that I was so fond of when I grew up!

On the per chance that it doesn't fall apart in the mean time. Or should that be, replaced with an even older coaster ;)

I find the park a lot more enjoyable with children, and we usually end up spending the whole day there if we steal some kids. If its just the two of us, we find ourselves leaving mid-afternoon ish.

And less of the negativety Leon!lol

Tractor Boy here !! I am a member of the Fairground Association of Great Britain and The Fairground Society. In my spare time I live to visit fairs and theme parks. I am also a gold pass holder at Colchester Zoo.I use to work on the Waltzer at Mannings Felixstowe in the 90s.and still give a helping hand when the fair comes to town. My day job now is an Assistant Waste Manager. I use to love Pleasurewood in the 90s when there were more theme park style rides like Tempest. I only visit couple of times a year nowdaysas my kids perfer Blackpool and Pleasure Island.
